Yes that's Tom Jones he appeared in the Prince of Bel-Air one of the most popular songs he has Out is it's not unusual to be loved by anyone or if not the most popular song
Omg that voice is amazing he actually got me in tears. This man Mr. Tom Jones sang that song with soul and passion. He actually made me cry because I literally felt the passion and the sincerity of the lyrics. Thanks for sharing this video it moved me in many directions. My first time visiting your channel I felt touched beyond my own understanding. God bless you for this beautiful gift. Mr. Tom Jones WOW amazing singer touched by an angelic voice.
Tom Jones= sexy, ultra cool, classy singer with a remarkable voice! Where did all the cool, classy people go? BTW...I LOVE how entertainers like Tom and The Beatles used to bow in appreciation to the audience after a song. CLASS!
Your so funny. Love watching you new to your sight. Will for sure be back He just turned eighty he still sounds great He's on the voice as a judge England
Girl you have us all laughing and yet we get the fun-seriousness of hearing Music that transports us... Tom Jones is Amazing just caught onto him because of you and im 2014 he was on the Voice.. Shout Out from Miami
I love your facial expressions throughout the video. He is a phenomenally talented man and still performs to this day. I have listened to him since I was 5 or 6. He makes you feel every part of what he is singing with extreme emotion.
Memories of my time, at 12 years old playing this, among other amazing songs on the jukebox in the bar of the hotel...we were living in the flat upstairs, and my bedroom was directly above the said jukebox. It would play constantly up to “last orders”, and I would drift off to the likes of Big Spender, I Left My Heart In SAN Francisco, Good Vibrations...and TJ!
He is one reason I love to watch the The Voice UK....he still sounds as good as he does here...It's almost as if he knows how we feel when our heart is broken.
Great video of pure truthful emotional reaction. There isn't a guy out here who doesn't wish that he could cause a woman to react to him as strongly as you did to Tom Jones and his amazing singing. Thanks for that ...
Must listen for Tom Jones: Delilah, She's a Lady, Green, Green Grass of Home, It's Not Unusual. What a talent! Loved him since I was a little girl. I remember telling my mother she should marry him. lol
I've been in love with Tom Jones and his voice since I was about 9 years old - ugh 54 years ago! He still sings amazingly at 80. Please check out his impromptu singing of It's not Unusual on the British version of The Voice. Just a phenomenal singer!
Yes sir! We can sing, drink, fight, tell stories, write, act and reproduce. If you really get under our skin, we'll bomb you endlessly! I'm Welsh on daddy's side, Irish on mama's side. Love being Celt!
Yes but if they are World Famous then we should not need to..... 1/Shirley Bassey-One of the all-time greats. 2/ Sir Tom 3/ Harry Secombe 4/ Charlotte Church Actors like the supremely talented Richard Burton and Anthony Hopkins also Richard Furze....was amazing...
Living legend in the UK. Check out his live performance of Delilah from the Queen's Jubilee concert in 2012 when he would have been about 72. His voice is as strong as ever.
I saw it and it's a great story but it's not true.....lol Lonnie wrote it in 1962 and Tom did not make his singing debut until 1963 when he became the frontman in 1963 for Tommy Scott and the Senators, a Welsh beat group.
Saw Tom Jones live in person in 1969 at the Greek theater in Los Angeles! 2 1/2 hours of the best entertainer singing every song like it was his first, absolutely amazing! I’ve seen a lot of concerts and seen a lot of good ones, but this was right at the top. And here today he’s 80 years old and still sounds absolutely as good as he did back in the day
The very talented and beautiful Tom Jones ! I've been a fan since I was maybe 6 or 7 and heard him sing what's new pussy cat. Grew up in Vegas and in 1979 my future husband took me to see Tom and it was sooo crazy watching all these women throwing panties and room keys on the stage lol never seen anything like it...♡
He was only 27 yrs old here - so suave & debonaire with such a smooth, melodic yet powerful voice... I was born the year this came out. As a little kid I remember my mom, aunties, their friends, & hell, even their mothers all and I mean ALL of them had huge crushes on Sir Tom Jones. Whenever he came on the TV, they would all crowd around it & get all giggly like a bunch of school girls. It was funny how they'd yell at us kids (or the husbands) to keep the noise down so they could hear him sing. :-) Elvis Presley was a fan & friend, often saying that Tom's voice was the best he's ever heard. I remember watching footage of his concerts & seeing women throwing their panies on stage. As a kid, i didn't understand what was driving these weirdo ladies so crazy to strip off their underwear to toss them and their hotel room keys at his feet. Now I do understand - LOL! Ok, you must check out, in this order - "Delilah" and then "Green green grass of home" - seriously dark/deep lyrics but Tom sings them so beautifully that you forget what the songs are actually about. :-) For some lighter, more upbeat tunes check out She's a Lady, It's not unusual, & KISS (his cover of Prince's hit song). side note - Tom's nickname is "The Voice". He was dubbed that decades before the competition/reality TV show of the same name...
One of the most fun songs I used to love spinning on my morning radio show so many years ago. Even my grandmother loved him! 😂 He’s still going strong at 80!
Set a time Jones is 80 and a judge on Britain’s got talent. One of the videos on RUclips he sings this song with the son of the guy who wrote it. He still has it.
He is a judge on the voice, and the video you refer to is lonny donagon's son... Magical moment for me as im a Sir Tom fan and listened to lonny growing up as my parents liked him 👍👍😁😁
When my Mom watched the Tom Jones show back in the day I remember her commenting ladies would throw their panties on stage when he performed. WOW,what a performance by Tom. I feel like throwing my panties on stage,LOL.
I love your reaction to the song. But, the first part where you pretended hitting the girl with the shoe. Oh my gosh ! I felt like I was gonna fall out of my chair laughing ! Loved it !
Ah our Sir Tom.. Being a brit in my 50's Tom is a a voice always in my life, seen him twice, due to see him last month but covid is making us wait another year.. He is 80 years old and still has that amazing soul voice... Your reaction to him had me laugh out loud, cos girlfriend that man is pure power house 😁😁😁😁😜😜😜😜
A lady with impeccable taste and a man with a fantastic voice. Credit too for orchestration, backing music and singers. By the way also it’s Sir Tom Jones for his full title.
Hilarious intro, and it's so enjoyable to see you react to The Voice, as Sir Tom was called in the Welsh valleys he hailed from. Now, after reacting to this, it's very clear that NOW, you'll know why he was ,and is, The Voice:-)
The guy who wrote this song, Lonnie Donegan, was also a great singer & musician, who headed up the 'Skiffle' movement in the UK, in the 50's. A lot of his songs were in the 'novelty' category, but as well as this beautiful song, he recorded some amazing love songs in his long long singing career.
Tom Jones is awesome! You need to watch his version of the song "The Green Green Grass Of Home" He literally lives in the song especially when he is talking instead of singing. It is like he is there!!!
Their was a time when Tom and Engleburt were the big thing it was in the late 60s anyway the critics said Tom would blow out his voice within a couple years , guess they were wronge.
Glad that you liked this song and Tom's amazing performance of it. The reason why it is in black and white is because colour television was not publicly available at the time. This is a particularly good quality video for its day.
Where did he come from? That's the Welsh Wonder/UK Mr Tom Jones. Check this out. Elvis, said Tom had the best voice he'd ever heard. One hell of a recommendation. :D
@@SweetThing My view is Tom is the best all-round popular culture male singer ever! Some opera singers may be better 'singers' so to speak. That's why I say popular culture. Our lovely Tom knighted by our wonderful late Queen. Sir Tom. I was eight when he sang this. Mum and dad. Bought all his records. Music was classy then
I haven't even seen the video yet. I'm thumbs upping it just for that amazing intro. Best I've ever seen. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I had to come back and watch the intro again. 😂😂😂😂 Good reaction! 😎
I seen Tom Jones 6 times, first 2 times in late,1970s. My Godmother / aunt took me to see him. The other 4 were between 1982 and 1987. I got a kiss twice from Tom! You need to check out some of Tom's other stuff, She's a lady, Delilah, and Treat her right! All the live versions!
He’s still singing amazingly now . He has just turned 80 and he’s killing it . A true legion.
@Rick O'Shea Naw, he's worth a whole damn army! LMao.
He's also amazing on The Voice UK. He hasn't lost his touch, he can still belt out this song just like it's 1967!👏👏
When music was “sexy” without needing to be nasty or filthy to get the point across.
AmensTd
Then you've never seen Evgeni Plushenko skate to Tom Jone's Sex Bomb ...
There's nothing inherently wrong with nasty or filthy, but I see your point.
Texas Magnolia -Some of us appreciate nasty and filthy. Btw Tom Jones inspired thousands of women to throw their panties onstage when he performed.
Yes that's Tom Jones he appeared in the Prince of Bel-Air one of the most popular songs he has Out is it's not unusual to be loved by anyone or if not the most popular song
Always have loved Sir Tom!!!
Whatever you're favorite genre of music is, you have to acknowledge that man's incredible voice.
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Powerful! Amazing! He's singing this in England and you can hear him all the way to America.
This song shows proof positive that he had one of the strongest voices ever; a pure instrument!!!
"It's not unusual" to be impressed by Tom Jones. He was smooth power.
Your so funny. Love watching you new to your sight. Will for sure be back
He just turned eighty he still sounds great

allan jones .... I saw a biography of Tom Jones and apparently he was a sick kid who couldn’t leave the house for a while.
@@saflynn14 Wow... thanks for the info, I never knew that

Best part - all done live - no autotune, no electronic enhancements, no re-recording. Pure talent.

He's from Wales: the land of too many consonants.
