My favorite thing about the old Warden was the delayed blockable chain heavies. Nowadays you can’t delay them as much and it’s so telegraphed + spammy.
Very true. When he got "buffed" to have unblockable heavy finishers, I actually complained. I think it makes them harder to land and makes them less of a mental game now even though they're 50/50s.
This so much. If the devs don't have the resources. They could buff the s on his dodge bash so that is more akin to Shugo and Lawbringer His dodge bash feels like more of a dodge and then a bash.
Call me crazy. But I would love a dark souls like story and world, but with an improved For Honor combat system. I feel like we got a hint of it during that son wu Kong event with the puppets.
I just want warden to be an actual knight who uses his sword instead of his damn shoulder... Like imagine instead of shoulder bash he had a pommel/halfsword/crossguard jab attack of varying charges depending on how long you hold it instead of him tackling you like a 14th century football player...
Yeah, his sword is already pointing at the enemy and would reach them before his shoulder does, just half sword poke them back with a follow up top heavy that's unblockable or side heavies that can't be dodged

Yeah give all his bashes hyperarmor as well as his heavy finishers so he becomes the best duelist in the game because it wasnt enough for him to be top 3
Enhanced lights maybe for pressure, hell maybe even just enhance the 2nd light after an initially landed hit. The tap tap bash is the core of his kit but it's so easy to stop dead in its tracks

The new Warden "skin" is probably the closest we will EVER get to a full suit of plate armor for warden. But it is still FAR from perfect. First of all, where is the bevor?? It's a sallet helmet. These helmets were basically naked without a bevor to cover the throat. Second of all, why are the vambraces not fully covering the forearm? Third of all, why is there no placard? It's literally just a breastplate. Fourth of all... that hair coming down the back tho... ew. And the BIGGEST problem? Why in god's name, is there only ONE steel pauldron? Why is the other one made of leather?? Knights in plate armor NEVER used leather. That is so stupid... Trust me, if they actually wanted to, they could make it a WHOLE lot more epic if they just fixed these five things. Otherwise, probably the closest to historical accuracy that we're gonna get.

And no duels is not 1/10 the game only has 5 modes that is played most of the game and he is good in 3 of them. Instead of buffing an already S tier hero they should've just reworked a bad hero like nobu,pirate,zerker,glad and LB (even though LB got reworked recently it was a very unfair nerfs for him that made him feel terrible in all modes)

Hyper armor or undodgeable zone would be great. Warden is easily countered by dodge attack spam.
