Very informative and detailed review of the camp sites on beautiful Bribie Island. It’s disappointing that people book sites and don’t show up which prevents others from booking. Thanks guys continued safe travels 👍
Once again, thank you for the time and effort you guys put in brining these videos. Your videos are a massive help in planning our trips like teewah campsites videos. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing team. NSW based here, hopefully when borders open up will get up there again to enjoy what you guys have. Hopefully run into you guys one day and share a bundy with uncle Johnny.
Thanks guys, what a nice video showing all the sites!! If you have a 4WD with roof-tent, can you book the tent-only site? It's quite confusing:D Thanks for help.
Hello, great video!. Just wondering when you say one car at the campsite but the campsite is for 6 people how does that work? With all the gear in the car we can barely fit 3 people in the car. So would be impossible to take 6 people camping with only one car? Or am I confused here. Thanks!
Something my brother told, one of his mates told him, the campsites are booked out by environmentalist groups, they are trying to let Bribie repair itself. I don't know how true that is, but from a lot of videos i have seen, it kind of makes sense, as a lot of these campsites sit empty
4 days on Fraser Island, it blew 25 to 30knts all day every day and rain squalls, sea sprey soaked everything. The 10 day temp forcast was 24C/17C average with full sun. Reality was overcast, 20C/10C, rain, 94% humidity.
Hi, Any site recommendations for 2 cars with awning and swag setup? It's fine if it's 2 sites close together (want to be able to set up everything next to the cars) Thanks :)
Hey crispy, have just sent email to QPWS re all sights booked with no one there. Maybe if they get a few emails they might look at the problem. Cheers.
Allegedly there is a local bribie facebook group that books the sites out to stop people from camping there. Could be the reason so many of the "booked" sites were empty
We just did a reconnaissance mission on Tuesday this week and the same problem. All booked out with very few people there. Mate was there a few weeks earlier and it was the same. Will be contacting QPWS to see what is happening. Cheers.
@@philbaker3549 We did the same a few weeks ago on a saturday afternoon and same deal at least half of the campsites if not more were empty, including the prime spots. Something seems a bit suss I have to say.
@@Darkkphantomau thanks mate, have just sent email to QPWS regarding this issue. Awaiting response. Maybe if a few others do this, something might get done. Cheers.
I just looked.. in a time when school holidays is not on and every side is booked .. I hope people are going to these sites cause its unfair to people that would love to go but cant cause we cant book.

Great video as always :)
Just watched this vid and great, gives me some ideas, thank you
So disappointing that people book these sites and not show up. Bribie is a great spot tho. Great vid 👌🏽

The tent only sites usually have a barricade up - so you can’t drive the car into them unfortunately.
Legends! Cheers guys!
Great video thank you! So what’s your top site picks for a camper trailer family?

We have a 7 seater 4wd and a trailer. 🤷

Is that a go-pro or a new phone that takes such excellent video quality?
Gopro 10
quality wasnt as good as previous videos ..a bit too exposed
So which site would have the best view and would be the best for a camper trailer?
Sites 10, 11 and 23 would be my pick.
if I have a rooftop tent and awning tent and annex would that make me a camper trailer site ?
Good question. I would say either !
Hi, Any site recommendations for 2 cars with awning and swag setup? It's fine if it's 2 sites close together (want to be able to set up everything next to the cars) Thanks :)
Site 11 would be best. It takes 2 cars and you could camp right beside the car and it has water views.
Top spot to camp

From what I heard it is an envioronmental activist group doing it to stop us taking 4x4 on beach etc

The word is that the locals book these sites 6 months in advance just to keep tourists off the island.
Yes we have heard that - seems it might be true
No uncle Johnny……?! .😒
He will be back next video!
