It is always nice to listen to Swamini Vimalananda, very powerful talk full of information and wisdom .
What a wonderful speech this is!. From the beginning to the end, I was so drawn to it and it opened my mind. It's good to know that peace is the natural state of the mind and that we create our own disturbances, and so we have the power to stop those disturbances. The wisdom of our great munis delivered to us in this hour long speech by the very learned Swamini Vimalananda. A great speaker. Thank you so very much.

Very thought provoking lecture. To understand how to control the mind - how to have a peaceful mind - people go looking all over for help - temples, swamis, gurus, and "wise persons." Mind can only be at peace when you are true (pure), love full, and happy (blissful.) Like Peace, these three are also our natural states - abundant, ever flowing, and innate within us. Like Swamini Vimalananda rightly said "You are Peace - peace is your natural state - you create the agitations, noise and stress to disturb your peace. What you create only you can stop." - Very deep thought. I specifically loved the running antivirus program on ourselves daily - I guess this is what we are supposed to do during meditation - keep reminding ourselves every morning that - so that the rest of the day is peaceful:
"I am pure, being true is my nature, I am a pure soul,
I am happy, being happy is my nature, I am a blissful soul,
I am love, being love full is my nature, I am a love full soul,
I am peace, being Peaceful is my nature, I am a peaceful soul,
I have the power and intellect within myself to invoke my self-awareness and self-realization to do only pure, happy, love full and peaceful karmas by controlling my emotions, feelings and thoughts, and most important of all reforming my negative belief system (my habits - my sanskars) and staying positive so that I can influence the world with my positive energies and deeds for eternal peace.

what an experience i had in cochin more than 20 years ago when by a sheer WILL of God i found myself the convenor of 8 days yagna!!!!!. imagine conducting a press conference without knowing anything about Swaminiji.!!!! everything from finding bhiksha , fixing posters in the night, meeting sponsors etc. everything was happening under an influence of some unknown shakthi.........i still store Swaminiji`s appreciation letter after she left cochin after a very successful yagna.......what a blessing it was to meet this fire branded highly elevated aatma......

Swami vivekanand words are like super stong thunderbolts. They still inspires me.
One day I was meditating on third eye chakra. Then in a minute I felt a snake like thing beside my spine which was crawling slowly.it was going down and then coming up. I was so much afraid so I dropped the meditation. I know that this is the Kundalini shakti.

This is power of Indian culture what we have and we were the generator of these kinds of thoughts even though the people do not believe it. We are not happy because other is happy this is state of our mind. We are running behind the money and it should be such that at the time of need, it should not be less and you cannot buy happiness with money. When you have less money then all the relation are good and when the money comes relations goes away. Since last 15 years, people have changed their life style like in the early age (25 to 30) we needed house or we called as flat and through money we cannot buy happiness, it comes from our state of mind. If we are happy with our family likes mother, father, sister and wife and children and taking care with pure heart then we can give happiness to our surroundings and to whole world. In day to day life if we take care all the things what the Swamini Vimalananda ji tolds us in the lecturer we rid off of all our worries and problems. Doing any things self analysis is necessary and our work should be like that no one should be humiliated with our doing if this kind of thoughts will come to our mind then the peace definitely come. Today we are thinking about our family, in family basically my wife, and children, no father, no mother. Tell me how the peace will come ? This is also state of mind.Think about your father’s and grandfather’s back time the people were very happy and united to each other and now we are not caring our children (1 to 3 years) also and sending the them to day care, can we think about when the child is most required his mother at that time we are sending them to day care, child is very sensitive he observed each and every activity and it is because of earning money. This is also a state of our mind, have you ever thought like our parents and grandparents how they cares us and at that time resources was less, money was less even though space (house) was small and they never taken loans for full filling our needs. Now a days people what we called as developed or 21 generation, on each and every things they have taken the loans, This is called as state of our minds. As Swamini Vimalananda ji said that we people are not taking good food and in the past time food was very good, natural things we used to eat. Things are changing but not in such extend that by seeing the entire future outcome we are ignoring those. People are collecting the bank balance and property now a day’s nothing more then and he also know that nothing will go with him but still he is fighting…….:).

Body is an expression of soul and of course mind-set. As the mind becomes extremely pure and earthly needs completely disappears then the visible body has no need to exist any more and our protective device conscious or unconscious becomes low and not cared at all and diseases do attack and can destroy the body.

Things started to really click for me around 42.39 when she speaks about "nobody really understands me." This is an issue I have faced throughout my whole life and her simply saying we barely understand ourselves how can everyone understand us. Get rid of these funny notions. Very insightful.
