Never been in a Slayer pit that wasn't aggressive. Seen them 17 times. Loved the outdoor fire pits. Moshing around burning plastic, shoes and shirts....nothing better than that.

You can be walking down the street too and see someone on the other side of the road wearing a metal t-shirt, throw up some horns a that person knows. Its almost a gang lol.
Just got done with Slayer in Omaha and had am amazing mosh time. Went in there about 6 or 7 times for a few minutes. One dude hooked me and split my eyebrow (he was shirtless, on steroids, and looking for fights), a minute after hitting me and choking my friend (I threw him off)..multiple people jumped him for being a dick and he was unconscious and bleeding thick from his head. Slayer moshpits know Justice and know community service lol.
I was at a Carnifex show and I went into the pit on the first song and a guy was swinging his arms and whacked me right in the nose I got a deviated septum and a concussion. That was my first heavy metal mosh pit ever that shit is on a whole different level compared to the rock mosh pits I’d been in previously. But you always get the jackass that’s got to try to hurt other people in the pit
tom araya looks as creepy as hell at 3:04 the lighting makes his eyes look black he looks really demonic when i seen SLAYER in 2009 raining blood just stopped the place dead everyone was standing there with there jaws on the ground as the whaling guitars started and it was blood red and then it was like a hive of bees dropped into the crowd and the whole place went stupid but it was the ending with the screaming guitars that i will never forget the perfect ending

That is frucken awesome, I would have loved to have been there for that, I was fortunate enough to see them back in 2001, they headed with In Flames and SoulFly as the openers, Max Calvera tore it up. This was a Hell of a show and I can tell You that Slayer is legit and goes all out for the Fans. These Guys played there entire set walked off the stage, But! No one fricken left, We all sat there drenching in sweat full of rage from mashing, Yelling, SLAYER!!!! After a few minutes of non-stop yelling, Fricken Slayer came back out and hit the stage, and played another set of 7 songs, Un fricken beleavable. I moshed all 7 songs! That night was great, I snuck backstage (outside restricted area) and got to meet In Flames, at the time they were new to the seen, and I feel like suck a Dick as they were so cool outside there tour bus, I didn't even take a pic with these guys as I was Still on my Slayer High, I told the "Great show, I'm trying to get to Slayer. Uhf, what a dick. I did eventually get to there bus, I knocked on the door and some pussed off guy in the drivers seat looked over and kicked the crap out of the door and stared me down, I backed up and just then Tom and Kerry came out of the building back door, Tom had his Manger clearing a path to the bus and Kerry walked him self with 2 girls, I couldn't even talk to them but begind that craziness, came Jeff Hanneman. This Guy was so fricken kool, he took a good amount of time to talk to both My Wife and I, which I should clear up as to why we were able to sneek back stage a she looked hot as hell with the high skirt and fuckme boots, they let us throgh as I said I was a Roadie and she's a groopie, Ha! It worked!. Jeff was amazing , He took his time to talk to us and was a really down to Earth kind of Guy, We all took pics and he signed my Tee, I have that tee in a special place.. @@joeloaks yer good times what i left out was megadeth where first and it was a very good enjoyable show but the music wasnt loud enough then slayer started and the same thing volume was to low slayer played world paint blood/hate worldwide and war ensemble and then JIHAD started and my god the volume jumped to extremely loud so loud i was deaf for 2 days after
Been in a lot of pits, more than a handful of Slayer's, but for some reason, the most aggressive one's have been for Suicidal Tendencies. Aggressive in a good way of course! 🤘🏽✊🏾🤙🏽

I was just thinking that now when a mosh pit starts every single person has something in their pocket that’s worth a couple hundred dollars, and serves as their gps/bank/address book/doctor/ everything a modern human needs.... You definitely can’t be as reckless with that. As a teenager all you had to do was make sure your keys were clipped to a belt buckle lol

Then mighty Lamb of God took the stage and destroyed it! After everyone was looking like psychotic moshing machines, The 🐐 of Metal bands hit the stage........... SLAYER!!!!!! 🤟 This is only a short clip of the insanity that went on for the duration of the concert! Glad I got to see them one last time!

Believe me.... this isn't more than an average pit. I have seen Slayer over 10 times here. For example, The Season in the Abyss Tour - the complete hall with 3000 people did 4 or 5 big pits and they waved the whole time from the left to the right and back. Or.... check out on youtube Sabbat destroys Wacken..... this was one pit in the tent and the hardest fight of my live. When you listen to the bands they all confirm that Chile, Netherlands and Germany have the toughest audience. Or check Exodus - Strike of the Beast You will know what I mean
@@MR-fx7sf I agree with you 100% with the co certs you talk about, definitely the crowds are much larger and of course there are more Metal Heads which in terms = a very painful and aggressive mosh pit than others where the seen is not as aggressive. The Pit in this particular video may not be huge but pretty insane. I also see where you are coming from, tgis is not my first rodeo and I to have seen Slayer multiple times. I am fortunate enough to have met Jeff Hannman back in 2000. Really nice and humble guy, we took pics and he signed my T. There was a concert in Monterey Mx. With Brujeria, Diecide and Cannibol Corpse. It was pretty fricken Nutz. I've had my share of aggressive concerts. Great post none the less.Appreciate the feedback and good to hear from a long time Metal head much as my self👍

That is back in the day and I miss my younger harder years, ti be quite honest, I went to this concert and retired my moshing days, it seemed fit with this being Slayers last run. I still kicked ass and literally knoched out a guy cold who was throwing blows towards my face, no Moshing or slam dancing, just throwing blows! I hurt for 3 days but went out just like I wanted to. I think it is really great that you have that tattoo of the legends. Thanks for sharing
