This was so good!! I love and appreciate your transparency. I feel so encouraged and will also be more intentional with my friends who are same sex attracted. Knowing that loneliness dwells, confusion, and misfitting is alarming and hurts to know. Perfect loves casts out all fear! I feel convicted to choose love more than ignoring.

Amen. Thank you brother. I have a similar testimony I just never got in a same sex relationship because I was afraid and wondered why people were against it and long story short I read leviticus and I realize it was a sin. You see, before I read the Bible I thought people hated gay people just because not because it was a sin. I thought maybe god created gay people to control the growth of the population. I was mistaken. So I cried out to god that day and repented and ask to change.
And yeah
Praise god.
I’m going to church and slowly growing the faith as I read my Bible. I’m on 2 Samuel right and I’m glad for the lord love. He is the protector,provider , and the preserver.
Love the transparency. There is deliverance for self and others through transparent testimonies.
Absolutely! We are not made to carry secrets, shame or guilt. Jesus came and made a way so we can be free from shame, guilt and secrecy. That is why we shine and shine bright the light of Christ!
I applaud your courage. It's all for His (Jesus) glory. This was inspiring and thought provoking for me. We (in Christ) are all on this journey of restoration and sanctification and this transparency will become contagious and embolden us to shine our light along with you.

Shine! Cousin, I did and still do love you. Your spirit and energy was/is brilliant. You’re loving, kind and close to your family. Your smile is contagious too. I am happy that you discovered that God loves you. When God speaks, and you reach a place of discernment, where you hear and understand, it is powerful. Growth is an ongoing process; the key is to love God and then love self. We come from a strong opinionated family and sometimes they get it wrong. The way I see it, if no one comes to me (the source) directly to o find out about me, then I cannot be concerned about what they think. Your process was/is your own. I am happy for you. You found a friend and the love of your life. What God put together, let no man put asunder. Side note: I teach my children that there are no masculine and feminine chores, or interest. My son does laundry, dishes, and cooks. He also mows the lawn and plays sports. My daughters do the same. They’re all musical. They’re full of joy. I am grateful to God for trusting me with my 3 loves. I love God and therefore I am able to love. From what I can view from afar, you and I have that in common. Live. Love. You have grown into an amazing man, but I will always remember the smart inquisitive bundle of joy and bright energy that wanted to travel back to US with me in my suitcase. Continue to shine bright 😘

it is so sad to see such a lost soul, I really whish that one day you will be able to fully reconnect with our lord savior, that has gifted us of such a wonderful world. A word that can fill up all of us of joy and connection with our true self, a word full of wonders gifted to humanities from our merciful God Baccus
My guess is that this guy's same sex attraction will return. It was born into him and it is unlikely it is gone, Jesus or not. One cannot pray it away. It is so sad that he has allowed his religion guilt him into his current position. It is such a waste.
Then you do NOT know the power of prayer or what having a relationship with The Most High is about!
It sounds to me like you chose to practice chastity and purity. Same sex attraction or not, we’re all called to live chastely and purely when we choose to follow Christ our Lord!
