Arcade by Output is one of the most useful tools for producers and songwriters. The 2.0 update introduces Note Kits, which allow you play chords and melodies. This update adds a whole new dimension to what was already a "cheat code" plugin.

Really love the note kits when i got arcade it was something i thought it needed so seeing it added in is awesome so many sounds to create with

Been using Arcade for about 18months, one of the best VST synths I've ever used. Be sure to play around with the samples though to give them that personal touch because already I'm hearing songs out there with STOCK SOUNDS on them 🤦

I’m trying the free trial with ableton. It’s got some good sounds, for sure. My initial thoughts on the sample kits are that they’d be more powerful for myself if I didn’t have to go in and edit the sample kits for hits. You have to hold the midi as their pattern loops. The midi instrument ones are nice. And I’m still working on trying to get the sample loops to new kit to work correctly. Not sure it’s worth a monthly or annual price yet. I will say if you’re building a catalog to get additive layers with nice samples it may be worth it alone. BUT you can find plenty of other directions as well. Having stuff at your fingers in an instant is great for creativity.
im getting really frustrated as to why i cant find/dont have any note kits? am i missing something here? ive been using arcade through SPLICE for ~2 years now and it says its been updated recently but i have no note kits, im getting tired of using these loops i want to make my own progressions with these sounds
Any one having an issue where the midi controller doesnt sync up correctly with each key on arcade?
Everytime i try to record in studio one 5, I’ll press record and then finish with space bar and it doesn’t even record:( rookie needs help
I am testing Arcade out. Before I can make a decision on if i want to subscribe. there one problem I can't seem to solve or find any solution online about it. Which is, how do I browse content in arcade? The way it's setup is complicated? Unless I'm missing something like tab or on/off switch to toggle from those useless icon into a list. Just scrolling down side bar/search isn't effective. Any advice?
I'm using Arcade and when I push a key on my midi keyboard...it pops and static sounds like a record player!!!
thanks for the video! btw recording is the only way to output the sound as midi? can i pick the sound i want and then create the midi to edit note by note myself ?
You should be able to do that in one-shot mode.
Hey Bro, when you want to play melodies with a kit and choose one sound, if you want to make a melody with another sound or kit, do you need to open a new instance every time or is there a way to do it in one instance in your DAW?
As far as I know, you need a new instance every time, unless you're assembling your own sampler kit. What I do, like I showed in this video, is bounce-in-pace my arcade parts right in my project. That way, I record the parts I want from one kit and then I can move on experimenting with other kits.
so should i get this? or get the bundle by output that comes with substance and exhale and the others, seems like this is the LITE version of the budle what you think. money is no issue. but also im just a newbie so not looking to make them richer if they dont deserve it thanks !
I've only used arcade and exhale so I can't give you an opinion on the bundle. I do really like arcade and thinks it's really useful. You can try it for a month for free. That's a no-brainer if you ask me.

Hi there, I have just got this arcade 2.0 and am totally new to this … making music and everything… it is for my kids who are really into music . What is the back screen where you are layering the music please? Is it a separate programme? I look forward to hearing from you .. Teapot x
That's Logic Pro, a Digital Audio Workstation (aka "DAW"). You'll need a DAW to run Output.

Load it in as a VST onto a midi track bro. Make sure you rescan your VST library after you install it.

You can always bounce down everything you create using Arcade! That way you don't lose what you've created/recorded if you decide to unsubscribe.

Try free but no information on pricing. Go to their shop link and still no pricing. Though they want an email and password to send me a link. What's the catch? No way I'm creating a password just to try free. Especially with no pricing info. Something smells. I think I'll move on to those who are transparent with what they promote.

But to be honest, the most of the note kits are not really good. Nearly everything sounds the same.
Real talk, it doesn't impress me, it sounds like some other programs, and seems like a waste of pc space
