@@dembipor I've lived in Toronto, and now Calgary. While definitely not Toronto, Calgary has been quite affordable and there is a lot of housing: single, detached, duplex and condos being built.

Canada immigration system is joke. i live in Surrey BC and anyone can pay between 40k to 50k to get LMIA job to get work permit. Everyone knows about it, government knows about it, but dont do anything. Visitors coming to Canada can change their status by paying for LMIA.
Immigration is without any planning, too many temporary residents in last couple of years putting strain on healthcare and infrastructure. Most of the international students coming specially from India goes to colleges with random couraes. English language requirements are low for these courses.
