So bad songs did not automatically mean he was not happy..So who really knows. He does not really look healthy here at all. But it is all speculation what really happened to him. There are people who know who were close to him, I doubt the rest will ever know.
Anyone who is suffering with the disease of alcoholism will have strained relationships with the people closest to them. Even if he wasn't drinking. It affects the thinking, people in recovery need to be doing work on themselves especially while sober. Not saying he wasn't but I did read he was struggling towards the end.
