thanks got it working I didn't install the superzip, just grabbed the tinfoil files I needed and ran the forwarder through goldleaf and it started right up I hadn't touched my modded switch in awhile and I have another, came back to find the sd card had died after 3 years ty san disk ( was bought brand new btw)... I was lucky it let me back everything up before fully dying so trying to get everything back up and going and this will help a lot, hopefully.

My Tinfoil works in the game mode but upon installation says "App launch failed, try again from home menu" I re-modded my switch and still the same issue lasts

I didn't know you needed to install that nsp file, it usually tells me data is corrupted whenever i try installing, I'll delete the entire tinfoil folder and everything related, then reinstall from the self installer file onto the sd and it has same error. I'll try this now and see what it says

Hello, hope you can respond to this. ever since I got done modifying my switch I’ve been getting error code 2155-8007 and it just puts a box on the home screen with a loading circle. Everything is up-to-date and I downloaded patches the other day at the latest version and it’s still giving the same error. Well this video help me.🙏🙏🙏❤️

i have mod chip OLED switch. i update atmosphere and hakate. i also downloaded sigpatch & downloaded the tinfoil self installer. when i try to launch it on the switch on the photos it says unable to start software. what am i doing wrong?

Hey I have a question, I’m buying a modded switch tomorrow with tinfoil. I see the seller has a bunch of games already installed. To uninstall a game do I just do as I normally would to uninstall it ?
@@Chrisgoberrr Did you try both methods in this video? If so then there is something wrong with your SD setup. My guess is that you’re missing sigpatches OR you’re installing the wrong nsp, need to install Tinfoil Forwarder not the tinfoil nsp

My switch wont even let me select my user before starting, it just starts and cracks the shits says the software cant be launched please try again from the home menu and the cycle repetes
I know that this video was posted 3 days a go 19.0 happened but has anybody else had any problems like i have when download of tinfoil the App from the game when in title take over crashes after trying to download a game or some kind ? cause i have been having that problem even when i tried to install Tinfoil as a NSP the download never happens it gets close to being done and it doesn't upload what so ever i can download games like rom hacks but every time i boot them it always gives me message saying please reboot the system or what ever and it drives me insane and yet all the sig patches are fine for me. ( P.S this only happens when i am using ghost shop )
@@obnoxiousmods i know it should work and such i even tried deleting everything on the SD to normal so it had nothing on it what so ever my sd card is always exfat format i dont change it im back on 18.1.0 where everything works fine folders and that work just not on 19.0 im using hats pack so there is that ill just wait till the devs has everything else is updated for now I'll stick with the firmware I'm on. I miss 18.1 anyway lol.
@@MiniMunchy1992 don’t use exFat use FAT32 but you’re 100% doing something basic wrong follow my cfw setup guide from scratch and it’ll work. it has every single step from start to finish.
just wanna say thanks for the upload, really helped me get tinfoil working... one issue though is i got halfway through downloading pokemon violet and it just crashed with an error and have to restart the whole process.. do you know a fix ?
Any1 crashing downloading big games like hogwarts ? I managed to install totk and pokemon and then hogwarts but hogwarts updates are making the tinfoil close randonky half way through any advice ?
@@obnoxiousmods if you mean install tinfoil through tinwoo like you showed because i had 0 apps on homescreen and 0 carts so it shows in homescreen now i did that and managed to down totk and update it but hogwarts installed game fine but updates are crashing for some reason

It's because sys and syg patches aren't supporting 19.0.1 yet it's not been released neither does tinfoil support it yet. It's blocked. If you showed me otherwise I'd respect it, just saying.

Either sig patches or because your using the forwarder version. Try the applet version.

If it happens in OFW without a SD then it’s a mod chip install issue, if ofw without sd works then it’s a sd setup issue

Make sure you're using the tinwoo install method, and only download / install one thing at a time

My guide works for ALL VERSIONS. Recommend updating to 19 for it

I installed the nsp when i open tinfoil it shows the user sign in i click the profile it loops back to the profile selection
