Great review. I found an adapter that did not need drilling and worked fine on my Polaris. Just look for one that is EN417 Lindal valve compatible.

Is it just as safe to use with an MSR Whisperlite Universal?It is sold as isobutane compatible (with the right jet adapter) like the Polaris
I wonder if this adaptor will allow you to use Mapp gas (or any other similar gaseous fuel source?)
mapp gas burns pretty hot. Might want to be careful with that stuff
@@ryanmalin yeah that’s true. I am mainly just thinking about expanding the fuels you could possibly use.
The adapter should work but but fuels used for camp gas are typically lower heat and not as explosive. I would be extra cautious.
