I agree with Deadpool Snow, this series is the first i have ever followed and been locking forward to on youtube. You are closing 300 subscribers, keep up the great work. Regards Nils from Sweden.
+Nils Kall Thank you Nils for your kind words! I have a long list of videos to come after this project is completed, and they will all be great. Actually better as I will be upgrading my camera equipment when this video series is done.
Great series of videos Norman. I'm getting ready to start building the loader and backhoe too and this is very, very helpful. Some of the best videos on UTube!
absolutely awesome i'm from western maine also I owned a LGT 145 with a Johnson 10 tc loader loved it but hated the ross steering this awesome build your doing!
In part 14 follow up of the back hoe you mentioned you only had 4" clearance which worked fine on your property. In hindsight would you have mounted it higher? What would be some of the complications of doing that?
Thanks for your comment. Yes in hindsight I would have mounted it a little higher about 4 inches or so. There would have been no complications to doing that. I may still do it. I would just have had to make the mounting bracket rise after it cleared the fenders.
OK, cool. Thanks. I don't remember that covered in the video, then again, I'm easily distracted by my dogs so I might have missed it. If it's there I'm sure I'll watch your videos about 100 more times before I start my build on my MTD 990.

What kind of hole saw are you using with your drill press to cut the larger holes?
Bi-Metal Hole Saws from Harbor Freight
What does the zirc fitting in the top of the hinge pin lubricate? The inside of the sealed pin?
Beardly there are holes in the side of the pin towards to top so it lubricates that top bushing.
