Hey there, Nik here, a photographer from Bulgaria! Great video as always. I usually watch your videos on my work account and they're an inspiration. I'll be in Madrid, the Malasaña region, between the 8th and 10th of March. If you're still there and free, I'll be happy to meet for coffee to talk and perhaps shoot some pictures. If not, take care either way and I wish you all the best.
I use to live a Madrid for an internship. Your video made me relive my time there also provided a different perspective of this beautiful city. Thank you
Loved the shots around Madrid. But, you must go back between Palm Sunday and Easter. The city walk in Toledo on Palm Sunday around the cathedral with the priests carrying amazing palm branches and the rest of the city, the rest of the week in places like Granada and Ronda for their daily parades for Holy Week with floats, animals, and marching bands. Staying art the Parador's Hotel chain in amazing, century old historic building converted into beautiful hotels. You will get photographs of a life time.
You're videos inspires me every single time especially your POV videos When ever I watch your content it makes me go out and shoot photos Keep doing this buddy 🤘❤️
We stayed in the same area in a small hotel at Cava Baja. The surrounding was really nice, and close to everything. If I were you you would go on a small trip to Valencia which has a lot of nice old and modern spots to photograph.
Visit Barcelona, although it is a city to spend several days in, you can take a high-speed train excursion from Madrid, you arrive in about two hours and you can spend the day, it will surely not disappoint you.
🤯😱 what a coincidence! I just booked a flight to Madrid on 25-28th Feb! I’m so inspired to do some street photography right now! 😍🥳 hoping to bump into you or even do a photowalk with you! 🔥
Some very inspiring shots! 3.04 is such a great capture of a moment that could've only lasted a few seconds at most - Are you shooting in burst or do you just really have a handle on how the AF works?
These shots are incredible! I’ve been watching a lot of well celebrated RUclips photographers recently and somehow I always get the feeling that’s it’s more about their name as a benchmark, whereas the quality/creativity is pretty bland and mediocre. (But maybe it’s just not the style that speaks to me). Your pictures in fact are very Saul-leitetesque: someone can really feel your trained perception for astethics, composition, and colours. I also adored your musicpicks and the overall ambiance of this video! Very inspirational! Bring more good photos from your trip to spain on here and home! Best regards from an aspiring hobby photographer! :)
Love this. Looking forward to more. Can I ask which black and white film simulation? The reason I ask is my black and white turn out with more of a brown colour.
Please don't anyone take this as mean-spirited. (Though I'm sure some will) I'm just giving an observation. Like so many RUclips Street Photographers I watched when I first started, you have evolved from Street Photo focus to travel videography/photography. That's obviously a direction that gets you an excellent number of likes and followers and likely funds these most excellent trips and travels. But the Street side is definitely losing ground to the travel documentary side, as with so many. And I understand. Some of the absolute best Street shooters out there are not getting a ton of followers and likes, but they are still very skilled and artistic shooters. Anyway, sorry to seem like Debbie Downer. I'm sure you'll continue to do well. Thanks for your work, for sure
Are you using zone focus in your street work? I have watched so many of your videos, including this one, and as I was looking at your camera wondering about those quick snaps, I couldn't remember what you have said about your technique (bad memory on my part). Very enjoyable video, thanks!
You're just faster than I am, then. :) I'm mostly going zone with my X-H1, and I don't know if it's me or the camera but I can't manage autofocus that is both fast and reliable. I can have one of those, but... In any case, you have some great photos here! Thanks, again. @@FaizalWestcott
I love your videos. But one thing is bothering me with almost all of them is how dry your sound is, and it feels way too forward in the mix. It feels like you're too close inside my personal space. I find it unsettling. Is it intentional? EDIT: by sound I mean your voice.
Love watching your videos before going out shooting, helps to get in the flow quicker 🙂

I LOVE how you capture light..beautiful Madrid!!
Man I wish I could have afforded to live all over and travel the world when I was your age. That must be the life well lived. I happy for you.
Toledo, Cuenca, El Escorial, etc

Hello, loved the compressed perspective photos in crosswalks & sidewalks from the 35mm (52.5mm full frame). The photo of the capes was my favorite.
THAT RED BALLOON PHOTO IS SO GOOD

Really wasn't wasn't expecting to hear Juila Florida by Barrios in a Faizal but I'm pleasantly surprised.

As I've seen on Instagram, he's there or he's been there.
Que bonita, Faizal! Buen viaje!
Anyone else notice the "No Fotos" sign on the table at the 2:38 mark? I thought it was a great photo!
🤯😱 what a coincidence! I just booked a flight to Madrid on 25-28th Feb! I’m so inspired to do some street photography right now! 😍🥳 hoping to bump into you or even do a photowalk with you! 🔥
Stunning images!
Great job ! Spain is great, mind to visit also little villages around
He’s back 😎
Being in Madrid, you must go to Toledo... A medieval city about 25 minutes by train 🙂
Great video! Have fun in Spain
great choice of music 😍
I love your videos and I love Spain! Are you visiting Barcelona? You're in for a visual treat if you do.
Does anyone know the name of the music at 5:44 ? Its beautiful

Valencia is really nice too, just take the train it's a short trip from Madrid
The color photos felt like kodachrome, nostalgic, beautiful
thanks!
You and romans pics from japan will make history bro 📷
2:30 great pic!!
Faisal, which have been your best shooting locations in Europe so far?
Bienvenido a mi ciudad amigo 🇪🇸
Very nostalgic vibe. did you use a lens filter in this video? Awesome video as always.
You NEED to eat at TOGA… its in the neighborhood you are staying at. Calle Juanelo 23. You wont regret it
What Fujifilm would you recommend for an all rounder?
If you can visit Granada or San Sebastián, you will be the happiest man alive. This two are the best cities of Spain, and top 10 of Europe
Some very inspiring shots! 3.04 is such a great capture of a moment that could've only lasted a few seconds at most - Are you shooting in burst or do you just really have a handle on how the AF works?
Do you prefer this over the x100?
Amazing video

really appreciate it!
Thanks for this video

No simulation, just edited from RAW :)
aperture setting?
Are these SOOC? What simulation? Custom Faizal sim ?
He edits them in LR. He also sells his presets

Did you watch the video? It’s all street photography lol

I use auto focus most of the time!

For this "I feel I could live here" situation there is an old Russian anecdote with the final punch "do not confuse tourism with emigration" :)
So cool! love your work. Just curious, did you only use the 35mm f2? I just got an xt5 and am wondering what lens to grab.
I also brought the 23mm and 50mm with me!
Beautiful shots, dude! Just be careful photographying kids in Spain.
"NO FOTOS" at 2:37 lol
Come to India.
Ole!!!
Who want to see Faizal with full beard?

Are these pics SOOC or edited?
these were edited
this video footage is desaturated, giving it a "bleach bypass" look
I love LA Latinas
A little bit less inspired tĥan usual but the place is less exciting maybe ?
These are alright...nothing special.
