Well I have mine since a couple weeks ago. This is my review: it’s good, more than i expected. The different modes you can use, the bluetooth, cd player works fine, and the internet radio stole my heart in a good way. The only thing i’m not sure is the speakers part, in most of genres sounds very good, but when I listen rock or metal music, it sounds like a crack in the background, I identify and it sound a little hiss with cymbals or anything. I think I have to find any EQ that works with that genres. In general, this micro music system is a good deal if you want to have it in a not big place, just to get chill and enjoy your fav music. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
UPDATE: seems that the crack noise comes from my bluetooth phone, because it doesn’t happen with other option. Also I have connected other phone and sounds great.
@@FKFRND hello, thanks for your review. I have two questions: 1)Does the FM radio station memories are kept even if you disconnect the stereo from the wall outlet? I usually disconnect all of my electronics when Im out of home. 2)Also, does the CD player has the "resume" feature? I mean, if you are playing a CD and for some reason you have to stop it and turn off the stereo, even disconnect it... Once you get back to playing the CD in the tray, does the stereo remembers the track and the minute and second you were playing? Or do you have to start playing the CD all the from the beginning? It's very important feature even more so when playing mp3 CD's with lots of files. Thanks in advance
Thank you for this demo! Looking to buy this for my father. I was completely surprised seeing that someone was using blackberry. Didn't know they were still out there.
I'm a hughe fan of Blackberry. In this video I'm using a BB Passport with BB OS 10. BB Passport uses BB OS 10, but supports android runtime until V4.3 so a lot of software (whatsapp, messenger, maps.me, swarm, a lot of browsers, some google services (gmail sync, calendar sync) etc. are still running there)
That's An Absolutely Splendid Stereo System... Better Workmanship That Alot Of The Plastic Built Ones... Sadly 100Watts Is Not Very Much These Days...With Such A Nice Design Seems Like It Should Be At Least 200 Or 300Watts...
I tried this one and got really disappointed with it! First the sound quality was mediocre at best, and there was no way to turn off the EQ (unless "Balanced" meant it was off?) and I didn't like the preset soundscapes. The volume was too loud - at "8" it should be much more quiet. But the worst thing about it was the cd player, as it couldn't play the discs from the 2009 Beatles box set without making gaps between the tracks! The Abbey Road medley with gaps, WTF?!? My guess is that the mini documentaries on those discs fooled the system into thinking it was a data disc instead of an audio disc, because it showed other data in the display compared to other cds I had played before, which worked fine by the way.
Hello! Thanks for your video. Does the FM stored statios are kept even if you disconnect this Stereo System from the wall outlet? Some stereos lose the preset statios when power is unavailable. I listen a lot to FM radio so this will be kind of a dealbreaker. Thanks in advance
So, when playing MP3 files from USB, it does not show the song's title, album, artist, etc.? Only "F01 T001" (folder number and track number, I assume) ?????
Thank you for making this video, it was very useful. How does it connect to the computer, do you have to use an audio cable with the 3.5mm jack? Because I sort of want to use it with my computer, I guess I have to plug it into my motherboard.
Thanks for the video. For the USB, let’s say you have 5000 songs in alphabetical order on the flash drive and you want to play a certain song that starts with “T”, do you have to press the next button 3 or 4 thousand times to get to it or can you go straight to the “T’s” and then scroll to the song you want?
Very fne !! Do you know if it is possible to cancel or classify internet radio or dab radio or FM radio in preselect menu when you saved some radios ? I don' t find no instruction about it in the notice on internet.... Thanks a lot...
Great review! Don't know if i buy this one or Panasonic Pmx802 or Grundig CMS 5000. Kenwood Smart hifi is out of my choices. Still with Manu doubts. Marantz Melody X is superb but it needs to 2 Speakers like Dali brand...too expensive!!!
Yep! Cos i think PMX-80 is out of stock. Yes, the speakers are the same for PMX-802. Each one 50 W, 3 ohms of impedance. Just think that this impedance os too low. Normally speakers go from 4 to 16 ohms. Thank you for your suggestion!
Hi Viljams. Thanks alot for the demo! I've got a question and I wonder if you know the answer. Any idea why my Philips TAM8905/10 doesn't read music from Samsung pendrive 64GB 3.1? It's format is exFAT. I can't change the format to FAT32, only to NTFS. I've checked another pendrive which is ADATA also 64GB but 3.0 with FAT32 and it runs music on my Philips without any problem. Do you think the problem is about the exFAT or it's just about the USB 3.0 version?
Great video thnx but I have a question, when you play a song from the usb and turn the system off and on will it remember the last track that had played and the time when it stops ???
Hi! No, it do not remember last played track. It plays first track on the usb stick. Even if you do not turn system off - just change audio source, for examble to radio and then back to USB, it scans entire flash and start playing first trck.
@@ViljamsVidauskisHello, thnx for quick response, it’s a really stupid thing that Philips doesn’t seems to understand pffff frustrating isn’t it for me it really is !!! Pffff thnx greetings

The DAB marketing is better than its actual technical merrits. Don't be sad about Latvia didn't choose it, in fact be happy that there is still common sense in the decision process. In case of emergency it is garbage. In case of quality during non emergency, use the internet.
I recently bought this system for my second house. In all fairness it delivers reasonably acceptable sound for the price. However comparing my Esoteric K-07 SACD player to this is like moving from Rolls Royce to Dacia.
My gosh., that´s a complete and big hifi system with all the staks of devices and bookssheld speakers. Which books shelfs and amplifier uses with that SACD player ?.

Thanks! :) Classical terrestrial FM radio or DAB don't require. Internet radio require wifi or mobile hotspot, the unit doesn't have thernet.
