POV: Stephanie being deaf can't hear her voice singing, but she can internally hear her fear, confusion and frustration at seeing Kennith's broadcast and that's why we don't hear her singing but we can hear the music... as a Communications nerd, I did spend what felt like 5 minutes but was actually an hour looping this song over and over again, thinking about how the lyrics and PV would of turned out if GHOST didn't discontinue Communications and how it would fit in with the story, so here's what i've got: the song starts from Steph's perspective, right as the hijacking started, (she wasn't 100% affected by COLORBARS because she was deaf) with the kind of unnerving tone showing her current emotional state and the ramping up of the song showing her getting more and more nervous and the taking over of her intrusive thoughts. She then decides to pull an all nighter and, after 7 hours, the broadcast stops for a second which i think is displayed as the small stop at 3:00. After that the music "slowly" comes back as the body of Kennith is shown on screen. The rest is history. For the lyrics i think it's mostly from Steph's perspective but when the melody starts sounding like the one in colorbars i think Kennith takes over with lyrics that may or may not reference colorbars/ broadcast illusion in some way. The PV i think would mostly show the two main characters but, like in broadcast illusion, i think Evelyn _HAS_ to make and appearance somehow because he's the one responsible for, basically the entire idea of a hijacking a national TV channel Sorry if this didn't make sense to you, after all English is not my first language and i am terrible at explaining stuff

Ngl, I love this instrumental. It gives off Colorbars vibes while it still becomes a sequel for Stephanie. Just wish I knew who Ghost was before they cancelled communications because I started becoming a fan of them after End-World Normopathy released. :,) I hope Ghost recycles this instrumental tbh.
