Hey there. I have an 89 mustang that suddenly stopped priming when I turn the key to the on position. The fuel pump would typically prime for 2-3 seconds, but now nothing. The car cranks, but won’t start. Any advice?
You have 4 options. 1 Fuse. 2 Relay. 3 Fuel cut off safty switch with a red push button behind drive side rear tail light make sure it did not trip do a hard bump in the back area. 4 Fuel pump.
@@irontownartfabrication9164 i am having the same issue with my 1990 mustang. I have low voltage at inertia switch and at red wire on pump relay. Any ideas of which way to go? Replaced relay checked fuse link and replaced ignition switch. Still no pump priming. Also replaced caps in ecu
@@diezel69cobra Hi there. Use the 1/2 voltage from the switch to turn on a new 30amp relay and add a new 30amp circuit from the battery. You put the new relay by the emergency red switch and splice it in there.
You are heaven sent. Thank you 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Great video
Thank you
