This was the song and video that cemented me as a Jinjer fan. And then my first show I was standing next to a stack of speakers and her low growls shook my whole body. I could feel her words in my bones.
Same for me. When I first saw this video I searched to see if they were on tour. They were. They were near me (well, 4 hour drive) in just two weeks! I snapped up a ticket--general admission at a smallish venue! The rest was history! My favorite band in the world now.
Great reaction! This is not only a great song, but a great PERFORMANCE! I love the fact that you had to stop it a couple of times, because it was just all too much! Imagine being in that crowd and seeing this band (that you've never heard of) for the very first time? I would be stunned, and I think from the few shots you see of the audience, many people were. The comparison to Rush was good one. Again, loved your review.
Hey J! Happy February! Great to see you doing some Jinjer again. You were one of the first people to turn me on to Jinjer with your reactions, so thank you for that. Your cute energy is a good complement for Tatiana's! Always positive and smiling. Life can be challenging, but I always know I can count on you for some smiles and some grace. Thank you for being you. Manifest greatness and beauty! I have recently discovered a band called IKINÄ from Finland, and I think you might like them. They have not one but TWO beautiful badass female singers who can both switch from gorgeous clean singing to amazing growls and screams in a heartbeat--and they do it in harmony! Their music is heavy but super groovy and melodic, and they blend multiple genres. But it doesn't sound like Jinjer. They've invaded my top 3, along with Jinjer and Spiritbox. You could say all three have somewhat similar sounds, in that they're melodic metal bands with female singers, who are genre benders. Maybe try Maailmannapa or Rituaali and see if you like it! ruclips.net/video/ce1wk2aaPDQ/видео.htmlsi=Z0k2rgEHxCkvJkUf ruclips.net/video/wXPsu3H7BxE/видео.htmlsi=IaC6LV6a9rarsCTp
The “Superfecta” of Hard Rock and Metal: Band-Maid / The Warning, and Jinjer / Lovebites -- all pushing their core genres into the next realm! 🤘 🤘 🤘🤘 Thx, Jac!
I love your reaction to this, for more earlier tracks by, Jinjer: "Just Another" official live music video, "Sit Stay Roll Over", official music video, "Words of Wisdom" official music video, "Cloud Factory" official music video, "Bad Water" official music video, "On The Top" and "Pit of Consciousness" both live in Kiev (these are more recent but still great tracks). There are many other tracks but these are good ones to continue with.
Such a groovy song, & such an astoundingly good performance - better than the studio version in every way, even though they had to re-arrange the song for one guitarist. FYI, this is a protest song, & I'm sure that Tatiana intended the reggae-esque outro as a hat tip to Bob Marley, of whom she is a big fan. Nothing not to love about any of that! There used to be some priceless older footage of Tati singing covers of Nirvana songs in a reggae style at a party (pre-Jinjer I think), but it seems to have disappeared from RUclips. I did find a series of videos titled "Tati Jinjer's Reggae jammin' 2011..." featuring Tati singing. Most of the songs have very little to no reggae influence, but the music is good & it's fun to see her singing a completely different genre in a party setting. If you watch closely, you can catch an occasional glimpse of Eugene off to the camera's left (with dreadlocks & wearing a plaid shirt). I believe that both she & Eugene had already joined Jinjer by this time, but the band playing, Jammin', was a side project of Tati's. Tati & Eugene may have been dating at the time.
@jacquelinevanbierk There's another Outlander from the channel failur.colour. It's more popular than live at Loudfest. The good thing about that 'live' video is Tatiana's absolutely astonishing stage presence. It worthwhile to see. The bad thing - studio album sound instead of the real live sound. Somebody damaged the real live sound so it is what it is. By the way that fest was a kinda competition and Jinjer was awarded as the best metal act of the year in Ukraine for that performance. So if you are able to imagine that it's an OMV for that song then you will get the great experience if you check it out too. If you'd do the double reaction with both versions of Outlander you will be able to compare. Both are great actually.
Heavy melodic buttslapper song! Such a banger band! I recommend also Spiritbox, Crypta, Nervosa, and Dutch (my country) bands Blackbriar, Delain, The Gathering (Anneke!)
Well I hope you check out Dans new Feb6 th masterpiece my heart will go on from the Titanic hold on the ground will shake and your foundation will crack get ready for something so special we will wait my friend
Lol check out individual playthroughs of roman, eugene and vlad to analyse all the complex time signatures and meter changes in the music.......tati overshadows that most of the time on stage 😂😂 Jinjer - Perennial (Live At Wacken 2019) Jinjer - On The Top (Live in Kiev) Jinjer - Captain Clock (Live at Resurrection Fest 2018) Jinjer - Cloud Factory (Official Video) Jinjer - Outlander (failure .color Video) Jinjer - No Hoard of Value (Official Lyrics Video) Jinjer - I Speak Astronomy (Official Video)
I don’t understand how she can do this for a whole show. Or a whole tour. Also, these musicians have insane skills.
This was the song and video that cemented me as a Jinjer fan. And then my first show I was standing next to a stack of speakers and her low growls shook my whole body. I could feel her words in my bones.
Haha, that's awesome! She's amazing!

Me too!!! I thought I was the only one.
Saw her live. It was amazing. When they come to your town…GO GO GO!

@@ericpeterson7512Yes, I agree, I've always loved that performance, and Tatiana's smile too.
Thank you!!! I need more Jinjer ;)
@@jacquelinevanbierkAlways happy to help in any way, Jacqueline. 😊
I was longing for your reaction on this ❤🎉😅
More to come!
When I heard the ending of this song I truly understood why Tati cites Amy Winehouse as one of her influences.😃

That fucking bass is awesome! I have to think they wrote the song, then allowed the bass to come in as an accent.
Jinjer sind endgeil! 😎🤘
Aber wirklich!!!
🤘🇺🇦🤘
Great reaction have you ever done a pantera reaction? Phil's stage presence it's amazing !
I LOVE Pantera, my fav metal band, Phil is my fav screamer. I've seen him live a few times. So much fkn power on that stage.
@@jacquelinevanbierk awesome !! Have you done any pantera reactions so I can watch them and press like? And subscribe?;) please do !!

Tati belts it out good, Jinjer never disappoints, From the Thumbnail of the video i thought you were Cyndi Lauper at 1st glance.....
