You mentioned Zara in your video,
i dont' know if you already know this, but Zara is not an american business,
Zara fashion business started in Spain, the owner is from Spain and Zara company started to spread business around the world years after shop opening around Spanish territory. Nice video anyway, greetings from Spain!

Oh it would be nice to see pictures of you and Grandma OK over the years and what you wore at the same age.

I would love to see Grandma Ok in a hanbok with all the traditional decorations, accessories and hairstyle of a court aristocrat. Grandma OK needs to star as a loving dowager empress in a historical period drama!

Grandma born in 1942 - she looks amazing for her age! She should also wear more green.

I would assume the Japanese occupation was not an inducement to the fashion industry in Korea before 1945.

this was even interesting to see as an American because i’m African American. it just shows how different the lives and fashions of white and black americans were during the same time periods.

I've occasionally considered how much Grandma Ok reminds me of my own grandmother -- even though they would be thousands of miles apart, they might as well share the same wardrobe of bright and colorful, often floral patterned blouses.
Though other then the 1910s and the hanbok, the fashion in the other decades seemed no different to me then what you might see in America. And likewise I think many Americans couldn't afford such clothes until after the 1950s, especially in rural parts of the country.
