Dynamite is the first BTS song I've heard played on my local radio at all times of the day instead of between the hours of 12am and 5am. It's also the only BTS that the radio stations are playing voluntarily and willingly. All of their other songs had to be requested by us ARMY and even then, it wasn't always played.
I was so freaking happy when I heard that song playing on the radio, but I was equally as shocked. I've never heard them play any BTS before, and now it's all over the radios. It's a dream 💜
Actually.....yes, in my country Pakistan there was an add in which they used this(dynamite) song.. and I was really surprised and shocked. And also in my country they always comes in news and I never heard them on radio...
Armys always request BTS's songs so many times but they just don't play it because it's in Korean. Sadly the radioplay has its points in charts, Dynamite was the only song which got benefited by the radioplay probably because it's in English.
In INDIAN radio , they played BTS songs ever since 2018 They played Fake Love , Idol , Mic Drop , Boy with luv , Make it right I was so happy to hear BTS on the radio !!
English is such a limiting language and although I'm annoyed they had to give in, I'm so proud that they've realised their dreams and achieved their goals, they deserve every single second of recognition because they're worked incredibly hard and continue to do so everyday.

They wrote the song all in English not because they wanted to be number 1, they wrote it because it was better heard in English (in Jimin's voice) and because it was easier for all their fans to understand it. BTS didn't make the song to be a success they did so that the world could calm down a bit with all this situation that is happening and to Let ARMY know that BTS is supporting them in any situation.
I agree. None of the members got to contribute in the production of the song, it was produced by American producers, which is why a few people think the song seems to lack "the BTS touch". While I disagree, I do see where they're coming from. Their music in Korean is significantly more meaningful. That being said, we have to cut Dynamite some slack. BTS made it very very clear that it wasn't supposed to be a serious comeback. It was intended to be a little something full of positivity to help people smile and dance during a hard time. It definitely made me and millions of other people happy, so clearly it worked haha. Still though, I do hope that the title track of 'BE' will top the charts as well, so that they can finally, belatedly, be recognized for their music in Korean.
I’m glad you touched upon bts previously saying they wouldn’t do a song in English. I was genuinely concerned when I first heard about dynamite that they were going back on their word a bit. But I went into it with an open mind. I do often wonder if on was the success they hoped would that get have chosen to do a song in all English or not? I don’t think they would have but they obviously needed that change to fully gain the acceptance and hit song they needed. Which speaks more to the global xenophobia and English preference than to bts themselves.
They released dynamite because it sounds so good in english and also to comfort their worldwide fans, not to get the acceptance from global xenophobia market. They could remake dynamite being their own style but they didn't, just because they genuinely thought the ori could cheer up people all over the world easily. The effect is only a bonus for them. BTS would always be BTS , an icon of this decade( at the least ) whether they sing in their native language or other languages like japanese, english , or use beautiful words like mariachi or mi casa. People, not just our fandom "Army", but non fan would still listen to them. Why would anyone listen to them? I would like to give a small example here why? I started listening to them even though i am not korean or japanese (their songs were released in these languages originally) and english is not my first language .......their message , their melody, their beautiful lyrics makes any person with average music sense to listen to them. Simple.
because ON, did everything but the one thing the US music industry wanted, which is full or 95% english, which is what Dynamite which didn't have as much theatrics at first, end up #1 because it was finally 'allowed' to full bloom. Dynamite reached so many extremes and accomplishments, but there are so many more BTS songs before it that deserve just as much, if not more, love. Dynamite has made huge accomplishments, and perhaps BTS feels they should make more songs like Dynamite since it received such a huge result. However, I believe Dynamite reached the height it did mainly due to how large the fandom has become over quarantine, with people all over the world discovering BTS as they sat at home. I also believe the Dynamite Era is the BTS Era that has the most growth for BTS, not necessarily in recognition, but in terms of it creating growth in fans and interest, and that’s why Dynamite got so huge. Yes, Dynamite is a good song, and it deserves to be recognized, BTS deserve to be recognized for it. However, they don’t deserve to be recognized only due to Dynamite, their all English song, when there are tons of songs in Korean before it that had just as much effort and care put into it. Songs that deserve just as much recognition as Dynamite. Songs that show their hearts and souls and dreams and beliefs. And with the growth that Dynamite caused, they deserve to be loved for all sides of their music, not just the all English one. That’s why this next album, BE, needs all the love it can get. Because this album, in every single aspect of its creation, is all them, them, them, them! BTS is doing all the sound design, production, musical management, visual creation, lyric composition, etc. for this album, and putting all their hearts and souls into every single one of those aspects! So what better way to show how much we love all the sides of their work, than with the album that contains the most of it? I think what they did was super smart. We've all been saying for years that radio refuses to play their songs due to the fact that they sing in English. However so many people in the industry have tried to deny it by saying "No, it's because BTS needs to do this" or "Army need to do this". But despite all of us knowing that these are all just excuses we've never been able to actually prove it. Now, BTS have released Dynamite, all in English, and low and behold they've had extensive radio play, acceptance across the industry, and more. However, I don't think they did it just to get that number 1. BE is coming, and it will highly likely be predominately in Korean. Now, with the fact that they have absolutely obliterated the charts, shown longevity, smashed records, achieved radio play, it should be a given that their new music and their new album should be given the same type of treatment? But in reality we know that this is definitely not a certain thing. If it does, BTS win. They get the recognition for who they are, for their music, for their Korean lyrics. And if they don't? BTS still win, because they will have proved, without a doubt, that the western music industry is xenophobic and that they refuse to entertain anything or anyone that isn't English. Honestly? For me, it's a win win for BTS.
i became a bts fan bc of that dynamite performance at the vmas, I always respected bts even before I became a fan. I was obsessing over other music and I regret not being an Army since the beginning. I ended my kpop phase just before bts debuted. The song was not even what made me a fan, It was their performance and energy. I just loved it and decided to finally see what bts is all abt and let me just say I fell deep. I am beyond proud and in love with these boys. For their success and everything they do.
REMINDER: BTS had a full schedule this year. After the release of the album, they were having a world tour for the rest of the year. The release of Dynamite was not planned. In fact, the initial plan changed cuase of covid. BTS then decided to release an english song for the fans. It was the armys who supported it and went to the top. Armys are always here to support. We prepared a lot. Plus, there were new armys in the fandom cause of quarantine and discovered bts. So yeah, that was there is to it.

I agree. None of the members got to contribute in the production of the song, it was produced by American producers, which is why a few people think the song seems to lack "the BTS touch". While I disagree, I do see where they're coming from. Their music in Korean is significantly more meaningful. That being said, we have to cut Dynamite some slack. BTS made it very very clear that it wasn't supposed to be a serious comeback. It was intended to be a little something full of positivity to help people smile and dance during a hard time. It definitely made me and millions of other people happy, so clearly it worked haha. Still though, I do hope that the title track of 'BE' will top the charts as well, so that they can finally, belatedly, be recognized for their music in Korean.

I’m glad you touched upon bts previously saying they wouldn’t do a song in English. I was genuinely concerned when I first heard about dynamite that they were going back on their word a bit. But I went into it with an open mind. I do often wonder if on was the success they hoped would that get have chosen to do a song in all English or not? I don’t think they would have but they obviously needed that change to fully gain the acceptance and hit song they needed. Which speaks more to the global xenophobia and English preference than to bts themselves.

BTS would always be BTS , an icon of this decade( at the least ) whether they sing in their native language or other languages like japanese, english , or use beautiful words like mariachi or mi casa.

I started listening to them even though i am not korean or japanese (their songs were released in these languages originally) and english is not my first language .......their message , their melody, their beautiful lyrics makes any person with average music sense to listen to them.

because ON, did everything but the one thing the US music industry wanted, which is full or 95% english, which is what Dynamite which didn't have as much theatrics at first, end up #1 because it was finally 'allowed' to full bloom. BTS, BH and us fans already were doing the work worthy of hitting #1 but that's the whole point of gate keeping, its not always what the populace wants, its what who's in charge wants.

Dynamite reached so many extremes and accomplishments, but there are so many more BTS songs before it that deserve just as much, if not more, love. Dynamite has made huge accomplishments, and perhaps BTS feels they should make more songs like Dynamite since it received such a huge result. However, I believe Dynamite reached the height it did mainly due to how large the fandom has become over quarantine, with people all over the world discovering BTS as they sat at home. I also believe the Dynamite Era is the BTS Era that has the most growth for BTS, not necessarily in recognition, but in terms of it creating growth in fans and interest, and that’s why Dynamite got so huge. Yes, Dynamite is a good song, and it deserves to be recognized, BTS deserve to be recognized for it. However, they don’t deserve to be recognized only due to Dynamite, their all English song, when there are tons of songs in Korean before it that had just as much effort and care put into it. Songs that deserve just as much recognition as Dynamite. Songs that show their hearts and souls and dreams and beliefs. And with the growth that Dynamite caused, they deserve to be loved for all sides of their music, not just the all English one. That’s why this next album, BE, needs all the love it can get. Because this album, in every single aspect of its creation, is all them, them, them, them! BTS is doing all the sound design, production, musical management, visual creation, lyric composition, etc. for this album, and putting all their hearts and souls into every single one of those aspects! So what better way to show how much we love all the sides of their work, than with the album that contains the most of it? Which is exactly why this upcoming album and its upcoming songs need to break the records Dynamite set. For them to see they don’t need English or heavy company assistance to create global recognition, numbers, and brilliance, they just need themselves.

I think what they did was super smart. We've all been saying for years that radio refuses to play their songs due to the fact that they sing in English. However so many people in the industry have tried to deny it by saying "No, it's because BTS needs to do this" or "Army need to do this". But despite all of us knowing that these are all just excuses we've never been able to actually prove it. Now, BTS have released Dynamite, all in English, and low and behold they've had extensive radio play, acceptance across the industry, and more. However, I don't think they did it just to get that number 1. BE is coming, and it will highly likely be predominately in Korean. Now, with the fact that they have absolutely obliterated the charts, shown longevity, smashed records, achieved radio play, it should be a given that their new music and their new album should be given the same type of treatment? But in reality we know that this is definitely not a certain thing. If it does, BTS win. They get the recognition for who they are, for their music, for their Korean lyrics. And if they don't? BTS still win, because they will have proved, without a doubt, that the western music industry is xenophobic and that they refuse to entertain anything or anyone that isn't English. Honestly? For me, it's a win win for BTS.

i became a bts fan bc of that dynamite performance at the vmas, I always respected bts even before I became a fan. I was obsessing over other music and I regret not being an Army since the beginning. I ended my kpop phase just before bts debuted. The song was not even what made me a fan, It was their performance and energy. I just loved it and decided to finally see what bts is all abt and let me just say I fell deep. I am beyond proud and in love with these boys. For their success and everything they do.

REMINDER:
BTS had a full schedule this year. After the release of the album, they were having a world tour for the rest of the year. The release of Dynamite was not planned. In fact, the initial plan changed cuase of covid. BTS then decided to release an english song for the fans. It was the armys who supported it and went to the top. Armys are always here to support. We prepared a lot. Plus, there were new armys in the fandom cause of quarantine and discovered bts. So yeah, that was there is to it.
