    ABOUT ELIJAH FOX-PECK
    Elijah Fox-Peck is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer who grew up in Durham, NC. He graduated in 2017 with a bachelors degree from Oberlin Conservatory, where he majored in jazz studies with a focus in piano performance. He is currently teaching of studio of 21 students through Keys to Success in Brooklyn Heights, ranked one of the 15 best music schools in NYC. He's also signed to Candid Music Group, a label and recording studio, where he works as a session pianist and producer from their Williamsburg location. He has performed throughout the United States and in Denmark, Germany, Poland, Spain, Portugal and the British Virgin Islands. He is also an accomplished singer and songwriter and his original music has been streamed over 400,000 times through Soundcloud and Spotify. He has performed with Greg Bandy, Moses Sumney, Gary Bartz, Billy Hart, Ingrid Jensen, Don Braden, The Punch Brothers, and Chris Thile.     2:44 How does he reach from D to F an octave higher so casually? I have creepy long fingers and I can barely make that not playing a song lol

      it's because your hand is too far up the piano. notice how his fingertips are just grazing the tip of the keys. this way you can stretch your hands nice and wide while still accurately hitting the notes without accidentally hitting the neighbor notes. i don't have particularly long fingers and this is still quite easy. could take a little practice to be able to quickly hit that in an actual song though.
