- U2.com subscribers interview recorded at Zoo Station in Vegas, featuring Bram, Edge, Adam and Bono, along with Gavin Friday and Pauli The PSM.
Bono is very humble. He respects his crew so much. We all know they could not have got to where they were with out the crew. Thank you so much to the crew!
Talk is Cheap.
@@6AlphaMikeCharlie9I’ve hung out with him he’s extremely nice to everyone. He walked around the room and said goodbye to everyone in the bar when he left.
@@6AlphaMikeCharlie9
The fact they’ve been working for them for 40 years tells you everything.
Not quite sure what the relevance of saying ‘talk is cheap’ is all about.🤷🏻♂️
@@6AlphaMikeCharlie9 Someone has a chip on their shoulder. Possibly both. Sad:(
@@thebillryanjust a troll, who is a child and wants to elicit a reaction.
My favorite band since 1983. I knew as a teen they would be special
Ditto! 11yrs old when WAR came out and they have been #1 in my heart and soul every day since!
Thank You for being my guiding light. Thank you for the sphere shows. ❤
Thank you for Sphere show, it was fantastic, made even more special by sharing the evening with my wife and son!!
We loved the show. Please release a DVD so we can relive it all again 🙏
As someone from The Netherlands, it's kinda cool to see Bram being part of this band for the time being.
thanks for posting this
I love these guys!
Another fantastic interview. I could listen to these guys talk for days. I’m glad they realised just how great playing the album version of “Even Better The Real Thing” is. Hope they play it again on the next tour… let’s get some new music out now lads! 🔥 🤘🏼
My favorites memory of South Africa was being in one of the parts where apartheid still goes on. Say the early Spring before the I|E tour ‘15 in Quebec. That was the 2nd, or third best show of U2’s I’ve seen. But we were stopped in a contact’s house, in a desert town, that was covered with cages. There’s people hanging on the gates, starving, begging, with plastic bags. “How to get to the grocery store?” At the grocery store the manager had “Until the End of the World,” cranked. We smiled for the first time since, well there were views. And I went over to him and shouted, “You like U2?” “Oh, Ya, man.” “Someone said no one here liked them.” “Ha Ha. That no friend. Dey lied, my friend. Sorry to say. You play that guitar?” Anyway it was nice. Keep playing everyone
Bram did a fantastic job filling in for Larry Mullen and I’m so sure that the whole band and crew are thankful that the show was a success!! U2 are the best stadium band worldwide and all the members are not ego maniacs and have no time to say hello to their fans!! They will stop and say hello!! I mean it’s one of the only band in the world that from day one till now, no member changes they use their own production crew and equipment because they care about family!! It is one huge U2 family band!!
Fantastic interview these guys are so in tune which other after years. It’s a very Irish interview how the conversation flows so poetic- the use of language is quite beautiful.
I love U2!! thank you for posting!! :)
Loved the opening night, and it's the show I chose as a keepsake (I wasn't there physically, but You tube let me in! Hahaha!). I love that Egde spoke about the community of song he found on his Karaoke night, and Bono's observation at the end...is it real, or imaginary light. It doesn't matter as long as someone is being illuminated by it.
Saw them in Dec, 1984 at radio city music hall, the unforgettable fire tour. Young musicians, the sound, the band, the passion. Certainly unforgettable. A sort of volcano that night at radio city, nyc.
GOAT!
I love Gavin hes such the artist in the art
That's nonsensical.
entourage. been there because he knows them
@@robovac3557😂
@@robovac3557such an artist in the art because he's art in the artist 🤮😂
@@6AlphaMikeCharlie9 😂 Sounds like a whole loada cringey, pretentious twaddle to me.
Thank you for uploading this. 💜
The Pop album and subsequent tour do not get the recognition they deserve. Quite honestly, the Mexico City Popmart DVD is probably my favorite of all their concert DVD's that have been made available over the years. That or Live in Sydney Zoo TV. Both are masterpieces.
This is the only music I listen and save on my phone! Bono ages but what’s matter is he still great singer! We all ages, it’s just in different way. My ex is Irish , they age really fast. But who cares I love u2 love Bono forever ❤
I went to popmart twice....in EUGENE OR AND KINGDOME... WASHINGTON
Bono we are good for listening
I stay to Usa Vegas look the Greatest Rock Band of all Time . Thanks for exist. See you in Europe 2025 with Larry. GOATS.
Unfortunately I don’t think he’s going to tour again.
@@Saywhatnow-o3w I have great News for you! they incluing Larry are currently finishing the New álbum in L.A( Califórnia)and Will a tour NeXT tear, its already set
What?
I absolutely love U2 but I think pop mart tour would have been so much more las Vegas. I have been to a few U2's concerts and even the elevation concert would have been more apt but they probably don't have the energy for them. Just glad I saw them in their prime but would have loved to have seen them both concerts in the sphere when they were in that period ❤️🎶
Bono and edge looking good fr
I’m only 20 seconds in and Bono is showing why he is so respected!
I love U2! Respect!
Friday's wolfin' down the sausage sandwiches I see
u2 played well at this LV run; new drummer was interesting & adapted surprisingly well, & livened the act up a fair bit giving the guitarists a new element to adapt to & perform with. Hewson's performances were variable, sometimes good, sometimes not, but no more than that from the gigs I saw. Whilst the venue was spectacular in scale, didn't think the visuals of the set were particularly good, too busy & often mundane in the backdrop images being conveyed, but the 2's have never particularly good at that aspect of an act's repertoire
am i crazy but at the start we were talking about facial hair and Bono couldnt let the other members finish without butting in with some las Vegas memories which were totally unrelated. Its all about Bono with Bono!
I thought it was a weird skip, but no, Bono literally just changed the topic out from under Edge. I love U2’s music so much, but jeez, Bono continues to try and make the universe revolve more around himself.
Bono went from 40 straight to 70 now he is Ricky Tomlinson.
Ricky's 84...
What? Shush! He’s 64
Read Bono's autobiography. Its fantastic
That was bizarre. Was everyone on Prozac. WTF. Gavin is great, if we ever lose Bono we have a spare.😃
They had just got off stage
It was so pretentious,
If you ever have problems sleeping we've found a cure.
@@6AlphaMikeCharlie9 And yet here you are. Leaving comment after comment after comment. What a strange little individual you are.
This isn't U2.
It's U1.5. No Larry, no U2.
What on earth has Gavin got on his bonce?
U2 at Sphere was incredible. I hope they will come back in the future and do Joshua Tree.
They built this Sphere City on rock n roll and other bands now have the nerve to play there in the future!!?!?
Where is larry
Bram is the full size version of Peter Dinklage
Lolol 😅
That was the first feeling I've got about him 😂
Wow whooooo hoooo
Larry should be there
Who? Larry the cable guy?
Larry is out of this fake tour...he problably will not back again
@@iokin34 I hope not, I know he's injured but he is essential to the band. Bram's drumming on The Fly at the Sphere was horrible, although the rest of his drumming on the rest of the set was top notch..
Biggest band on earth
BONO SO AWESOME AT RETRO GIT GAMER !!!
U2 at sphere amazing shows
Seriously tho… Bono and Gavin they are hammered drunk😂
👍
They are literally my two drunk Irish uncles😂😂😂💚
Gavin Friday is like a limpet since U2 hit the road!
Larry should be with them
Tampcoo es que se le extrañe mucho en las entrevistas
@@chacahua2012 no it isn’t that, he is one of the 4 pilars of the band
He might have left the band
He should but he couldn't
Are they gonna release a BluRay..?
It's coming out on Betamax 3000 first
The rumours are they’re releasing a concert film for it… but it’ll ONLY be available to watch at the Sphere itself
(Similar to the U2:3D film only being available at theatres in 3D)
@@SaltyStU2oh man, U2 3D. I remember it well.
😂😂😂😂👍😂👍
@@6AlphaMikeCharlie9 🤭👍
È ora di andare in vacanza
When was this recorded?
Before the final concert they did at The Sphere
🖤
I am a decades-long U2 fan but boy oh boy, the older Bono gets the more insincere he gets, and the more rubbish he talks.
I thought Bono was going to link facial hair to Vegas somehow, but no. 😂
Jeez, Larry's grown a bit ...
100% Bono and Gavin on the Bladderation trail here😂😂
I was confused by this interview, it was not well interviewed at all.
It was so pretentious
Why? @@6AlphaMikeCharlie9
@@6AlphaMikeCharlie9 quit making declarative statements and explain why you think this way.
Something natural about it where the conversation just flows
What is on Bono’s hand?
Let Larry be
Bloated. It was all downhill from Achtung Baby.
Is bono sick?
Pauli is the only one who's able to say whole sentence without some problems caused by whiskey 🤣🤣🤣 Wtf, this interview is really going nowhere....
I prefer the original u2🇵🇸
They all are drunk 😂
Absolutely hammered 😂😂
Boooooooorrrrrrrrrrring
Billionaire rockstars talking bout billionaire rockstar things. 😂
Bram is a bit of a chatterbox isn’t he??
I hope no one tells Bono he ages well...wow does he look rough . BUT i still love him :-)
They're all about 64-65 yrs and to me they all look their age. Noel Gallagher once went on a drinking spree with Bono and while it nearly killed poor Noel, Bono was up and about the next day, feeling sprightly and shaking hands with presidents on TV! That kinda of lifestyle's gotta put a few wrinkles on!
Y tu Brutus. R u the same weight with no wrinkles and life’s shock, wear and tear. You still r the same as you were in your 20’s?
@@Nalydyenlo Yea they all look about their age maybe a bit younger when you compare to the average near pensioners .. age does a number on all of us unfortunately .
How are YOU looking for your age Ronald?
Bono has not aged well. He looks so old!
So will everybody here one day.
Gavin Friday still leaching off U2’s fame I see.
Nope. Gavin is a long time friend from the 70’s and ALWAYS has been part of the U2 aura, artistic input.
What an idiotic statement. For one to have a creative friendship for over 50 years. A brother from another mother with a bond like theirs this does not happen to all of us. Cheers to them having a bond like the one they have. The Virgin Prunes X U2 is a creative connection between people that is simply fucking amazing. The best.
Where’s Larry?
He’s injured. Keep up!
@@gzz8551 it's been a while since I've followed U2...
Drink has been taken
i feel asleep, boring and pompous at the same time
U2 really need to get their S### together. Everything in this interview here is so controlled, stilted, choreographed. The fake humility is not only condescending, but out of touch. They should just relax, speak in their own accents (Bono's Irish, the other two have English accents and Larrys gone), have a genuine laugh. The band really is on its final chapter into death.
😒😒
agreed, it's altogether too slick & calculated
Aren’t you a fucking ray of sunshine Scott??
Than why even bother watching? Still don't get hate watchers, go find something you enjoy and watch that.. sheeeeesh!!!
They are 65 years old they’ve already proven whatever they had to
Mr Friday seems like U2s yes man, average interview.
Indeed he knows where his bread is buttered.
So out of touch and irrelevant. Embarrassing really. Their young selves would cringe watching this drivel.
Shouldn't Larry be there!
Well, no...he isn’t playing just now so...
You aren’t aware of this?
Of course, he is unable to play, but can attend interviews, he's a big part of U2, of course I'm aware
Get rid of the dutch guy and the token child rapper and let the old boys have a proper conversation ffs
It's better to get rid of you little kid.
What do you think about getting rid of you. How does that feel?
Bono is so fake here . How much he's humbled by the local people 😂😂😂😂😂
nope, that's not u2, not without larry. sorry. also, i idolized these blokes as a young adult. not so much anymore. left leaning entertainers certainly had quite a bit of influence on them, especially bono. not that i have no respect for them, but every time i see bono specifically, my heart quickly fills with ambivalence.
btw,,im Irish and i cant stand Bono, Edge and the hangers on like gavin friday analysing every detail as if they are genius. FFS get over yourself. And btw the punk rock they presribe to coming from does not sit well with them charging extortionate prices for this gig. Just sayin.
Feel better now?
@@gzz8551 yes, thank you for asking.
So drunk the pair of them…. I fuckin knew it was Gavin Friday😂😂😂💚
The craic
Bono and the other guy in glasses
Again… look at the comments. Those two Bono and Gavin are very drunk… Irish ☘️
All the Irish in that room are bladderated
Only like 2 of them are Irish though.
Staring to chat now😂
According to Noel G he likes a drop
Is Bono pissed up
So pissed
So annoying… wish they’d just come out and say we been having the craic for 6 months
