I think the mentality of fear stop us from doing so many things. I’d love to see a video with the moxie crew talking about those moments when they finally let go of their fear and how liberating it was for them.
That’s a great idea!
@@moxiskates yay 🥰👏
It really is so empowering overcoming that fear and I feel like these videos are perfect at explaining how to slowly approach something that might be really intimidating!! 💕🖤
I love all the skaters on this channel!! So inspirational and help motivate me :)
Ah thank you I love this! Just got my first blocks and I can't wait to try them out c:
Karli the ledge god thank u for blessing us
Exactly what i needed omg thank u lmao
hell yeah! I was lookin for a video like this earlier today :')
I find it hard when i try to slide on a box with the metal edge. It’s more square than rounded like the pvc pipe in this video. Any tips?
Hi! The biggest issue we run into as quad skaters, especially on angle iron/concrete edges, is wheels bite. This is when your wheels rub too much on the top surface of what you’re trying to slide. The best way to combat this is to use fairly hard wheels (I use 98a currently) and to try focusing on keeping your weight leaned back with your toes pulled up. I hope that helps! We will be posting another ledge video soon where we use a ledge with metal angle iron on it. :)
I am just learning slides and this video gave me so many ideas to improve. Thank you so much Rollergoolie❣️
yay!!! Get them slides! :D
When skating ledges in streets rather than skateparks, do you find that they need to be waxed first or can you do it without waxing? Would it damage your slide blocks if there was no wax?
I want the jack boots but they're all out of stock 🥺
I’ve been trying to get ledge/box slides for like 8 months…my problem seems to be that I freak out and immediately jump back off as soon as I get onto the ledge (so therefore I don’t really slide). Any tips?

Does this hurt your ankles at all?
Not at all unless you don’t have enough support in your ankles!
Could you do a tutorial for ledges without coping? I have trouble with that

@@SKATEFANTOM yeah exactly what I meant! I've seen a few roller skaters do it so I know it's possible. Can't wait for the tutorial! In the mean time I'll try to work on the tips you gave me, they're really helpful
