Gracias por hacer un video de mi país Ecuador, solo quiero indicar que aquí se hablan varios idiomas nativos y que la segunda lengua más hablada es el kichwa,el quechua es de nuestro vecino país del Perú.
el quechua no es peruano el quechua inca es una mezcla del chinchay lengua ecuatoriana y el jaqi aymara antiguo

Would you have any recommendations on, where to find more (real) information about Ecuador's History and culture??
Funny, many of the native indigenous Quechua who I encountered during my recent 30 day visit used the word “chota!!!” when I told them something that they thought was bad/ridiculous (mostly concerning the absurdities of US politics and policy). Now that I know that Chota is a valley, is it used in Ecuador as an equivalent of the English word “damn”??? Thank you. I really enjoyed your video.

I am half Ecuadorian and my mom who is mestizo used to tell me stories about history of Quito.

Kiwcha is spoken by the indigenous people. Not from indians. Indians are from India

I have realised that many national archives, are actually more closed than open....it took me 30 years to get insight in certain parts of the Danish archives and, the majority of information about my family there, I found in the German archives..
To trace one's family can be very challenging..

Bonito video pero deberían modificar los nombres delas regiones y dar nuevos nombres y llamarlos dependiendo el clima delas regiones. Por ejemplo en ecuador los llaman sierra a todos las provincias que están dentro de una asmosfera de climas primaverales estas regiones mal llamados sierra son gigantesco regiones que se extiende todo los Andes sur Americano estas regiones tiene un clima eterno de la primavera se debería llamar. Regiones primaverales ho regiones dela eterna primavera y no llamar sierra así la gente del 🌎 entendería el clima de esas arias llamados sierra mucha gente que no saben Loque significa sierra an preguntado que es eso incluso los extranjeros en los mensages en redes sociales se preguntan que significa sierra ...
