I get it, they have nothing else they can do in the NFL, it's not like the NBA, but it doesn't seem to ever move the needle for owners and it just turns some fans against those players. Aiyuk has shown what he's worth over the last couple of seasons. The numbers he got last year, despite being on a stacked offense that isn't a pass heavy offense, should be enough for him to get paid.

Maybe a big part of that SB loss was the game plan to keep running while the box is stacked. When getting man to man coverage, there being a focus on deebo instead of BA. It was eluded to by BA, about all the missed opportunities before purdy got rushed at the end by Jones.
When Deebo got hurt and they had a 3 game losing streak (vs. Cle, Minn & Cincy), BA wasn't able to carry them like a #1 receiver should. He may be good, but he's not that dude like some other WRs have proven to be. $26-28m is all I would do. $30m+ is ridiculous.

Aiyuk is family to the faithful, and if you guys can't come to an agreement it will be painful. The only problem I have is I think he needs to remember the Team he's on is a SB caliber team so he could end up with the money but on a team that is painful to be on like T. Hill who will probably never get back to the SB... then there's the cap. No matter what hope you get your price...P.S. It's a little sad that these young guys actually think their social media posts give them leverage in these negotiations. I get it, they have nothing else they can do in the NFL, it's not like the NBA, but it doesn't seem to ever move the needle for owners and it just turns some fans against those players.
Aiyuk has shown what he's worth over the last couple of seasons. The numbers he got last year, despite being on a stacked offense that isn't a pass heavy offense, should be enough for him to get paid.
We were a pass first last season tho, Purdy changed that. We just got too much players for the ball to go around. If Aiyuk was the only player he'd be top top

Maybe a big part of that SB loss was the game plan to keep running while the box is stacked. When getting man to man coverage, there being a focus on deebo instead of BA. It was eluded to by BA, about all the missed opportunities before purdy got rushed at the end by Jones.
When Deebo got hurt and they had a 3 game losing streak (vs. Cle, Minn & Cincy), BA wasn't able to carry them like a #1 receiver should. He may be good, but he's not that dude like some other WRs have proven to be. $26-28m is all I would do. $30m+ is ridiculous.
