Your description is perfect!! I have Mon Guerlain and the Intense. Love them both, but I really love the Mon Guerlain, rather than the Intense. You're right, it's warm, soft and comforting, yet there is something very special about it. Fragrantica describes them as both having the Mon Guerlain "DNA". You're right, the Intense does have a "screechy" note to it.
The intense is so so good. The intense is like walking through a lavender and vanilla field with rows and rows of lavender in a white maiden dress. With tonka bean lingering in the back. It’s such a lovely scent.
I have both and I agree the original is the best. I also own florale, sparking bouquet and l’essence. The best is still the original. Sparkling bouquet is lovely for Warner weather
Tbh i like it way more than the original .. strange thing mine looks darker a bit yellow color 2020 batch do u thing it’s different from yours .. how long does it last on u ❤

Love the Original EDP Mon Guerlain!!!
Mon Guerlain EDP is my absolute favorite perfume. I did try a travel size of the intense, and it smells good, but I still prefer the original too!

The extreme didn’t last as long as the original. My juice was very dark berry. So weird!!! My original is that pretty light pink color.
