streets of New York, IT WAS MAGIC!! I'd never seen anyone dress like
her.. masterfully mixed.. uptown.. downtown.. high.. low.. AND
ALWAYS INSPIRING! Ever since then.. I've been hooked.. hooked on playing dress up!
I got to thinking.. what would it be like to bring that magic back?
And I couldn't help but wonder..what would Carrie Bradshaw wear
now.. how would Carrie strut around my city.. the city of angels?"

Your love for the character really showed brightly here! My favs were the layered dresses with studded belt, suspenders outfit, and floral dress - the giant floral brooch nailed the look. That layered oil slick skirt, tho!! 😍. So wonderful that your friends helped you create this beautiful homage ❤️

Holy WOW! The double tiered skirt! The suspender outfit with the newsboy cap... and the poofy dress with the stud belt that so perfectly represented what Carrie wore in the movie! Eek. It's all SO good. Please make this a regular feature! This is where your joy is! I mean... you don't need the fancy film work every time. But whenever you channel your inner Carrie it's magic! Oh and the music! It's all perfection.

as a stylist myself and totally understands the carrie obsession, you fucking NAILED IT! You even got her walk down, ughhhh so good. Not many people have the Pat Field eye and not everyone understands the root of Carrie's style which is really punk trash meets boho meets sophistication. But you get it girl. AMAZED!

I’m old enough to have seen Sex in the City as it was originally broadcast. I remember anxiously waiting for new episodes, telling hubby and kids “get out of the family room right now if you’re gonna talk”, lol. Loved her style probably because it’s similar to my own. I’ve always mixed vintage with current goodies that I spend a lot of time mulling over before deciding to “add to cart”. But now I live in a small town and have pretty much gotten a rep for “creativeness” when it comes to the outfits I wear. But so many people (yep mostly gals) want to know where I found “that”. And when I tell them “it’s vintage from goodwill” they just about have a heart attack!! I think this is hilarious since I have access to the same thrift/vintage stores they do but for some reason, I manage to find the “best” stuff....😜 I started haunting vintage/thrift stores way back in my early teens when I figured out that my allowance would go farther at these stores than at the mall. Plus I always had my own unique look (often imitated but never copied, 😝) that’s still mentioned by my high school friends via FB. While I now might not be as “daring” as Carrie B I still feel that vibe and love that you do too. I have enjoyed your videos and hope that you continue to do them and give me and others the high/low/Carrie B inspo.
