from the day he got traded I was so excited I watched all his highlights from LA I believed in him from the start, dan cambell was the one I was iffy on but look at him now!!!
What is not to like about Jared Goff? Is he not arrogant enough? Is he too humble? Does not having a bunch of tattoos or crazy hair? He’s not a running QB but he drops dimes and gives back to community Hugh. Oh and the Lady in his life is NOT a drama queen! Yeah in Michigan we like that he speaks softly and carries a big stick, with a beautiful lady backing him up.

I thought this was football logic. Well, logically thinking, you would think he would know Josh Reynolds is gone.
Most people outside Detroit like to clown Goff because 1. They don’t watch Lions games so they just regurgitate what ESPN analysts said in 2021. 2. Most fans aren’t that bright. They don’t understand what he means to the team and just how great he really is. They don’t know the game that well, they think they do but don’t.

I wish someone would do a video on how good Goff is when he fakes a play. He’s very good at it and if you give one of your players just a brief second it makes a big deal out of it. 💥💙
Our defense has to be at least 60% better this year. With all of the additional players for depth and talent I can see us being in the top 15 this year

2:18 a lot of people hate Jared Goff? Why? This dude is solid, a totally great human being with all the charity work he does and he’s got a great story. Discarded by the Rams, most thought he’d be a bridge QB in Detroit until they drafted a franchise QB, then takes this total subpar franchise , turns it around and takes them to the NFC Championship Game while being a Top 5 QB in most stats. You have to want to cheer for the guy.

love what they did with the secondary. Not only did they get a plethora of guys who are far and away better cover corners than last year, but they have guys that are tenacious in pursuit of the football and like tackling with physicality. Always loved when branch came flying down last year, and I feel like there will be a lot more of that with their additions. And I'm still holding on faith that Moseley can be an impact guy late in the season. That would mean 5 additions that would either be DB1 or DB2 on last years squad. Shoot I even like keeping Vildor around. For a midseason addition being thrown into the fire I feel like he was more reliable than Sutton. Certainly unfortunate plays in the Niners game will plague him, but for your 6th or 7th cover guy, he's a welcome depth piece.

Go east on the guy for the Reynolds thing. Honestly, it’s not a big deal.
I feel the Lions are going to miss Reynolds more than people think. He wasn't a superstar, consistent as hell. He'll be noticeably missed unless Jamo finally plays like he was worth moving in the draft for. Jamo hasn't done a damn thing consistently yet besides dropping passes. I'm a Lions fan so it hurts to even say that about Jamo, but I'm being realistic. This year needs to be the year where he breaks out or all the chatter will start about him being a bust. If not a bust, it'll be how he hasn't been worth moving up for. He's a less than avg route runner who needs a TON of work. The NFL isn't just GO routes. Also, he needs some confidence. The drops are killing him and the Lions. I'm rooting for him. I'm glad the lions moved up for him. I need him to do something that justifies the pick. If the Lions didn't get screwed in that Dallas game, they would've been the number one seed with home field throughout. If the NFC Championship was in Detroit, we would've saw the Lions in the Super Bowl, no doubt. I've watched the Lions get screwed over and over and over for over 4 decades. It's time for things to go their way. #ONEPRIDE
Jamo played pretty good after coming back from suspension with the opportunity he got he wasn’t dropping balls ,You didn’t see the NFC conference game Jamo played great .. Also DPJ had a good year in Cleveland put up better numbers then Josh . So he can definitely feel that role …
Hope Jamo does well this season off and on the field. If not he will be let go. Culture on this team will not tolerate Anyone who is not in it for the team. Jamo has talent. This CAN be his breakout season.
@chriswil5919 of course, I watched the NFC Championship. I agree with you. Jamo did play great. But that one good game doesn't make up for his lack of production leading up to that game. Like I said, I'm a diehard Lions fan of 40+ years, so it hurts to even say negative things about him. I'm being realistic, in my opinion. But that's all it is...my opinion. It doesn't mean if someone disagrees that I'm right and they're wrong. Or vise versa. We are all anxious sitting on the edge of our seats for him to finally put it all together and be the threat we know he can be. Once he gets confident and realizes he can thrive in that offense, the league better watch out for him. Also, as a diehard MI Wolverines fan (just in case you or anyone is a MI St fan and wants to call me out for it, I was born at the U of M hospital in Ann Arbor. I was born a Wolverine fan), I wanted the Lions to draft him so bad. I watched him put in work every Sat. I know he can match Reynolds stats at least. He's also a threat on kick and punt returns. Lions only gave him a one year prove it deal for the second year in a row. Him and Kalif should easily be able to match Reynolds production and them some. I'm extremely confident the offense won't miss a beat after losing Reynolds.

Every Lions fan knows Goff is a good QB. That doesn't mean he should be getting a Patrick Mahomes type of salary with a no trade clause.
A no trade clause only gives him the option of WHERE he gets traded if it happens. Its not that deep. There were THREE QBs with a no trade clause who were traded this offseason. Lol Making a big deal out of nothing and its commonplace in QB contracts. Plus, Goff earned every penny of his contract. The guaranteed money is what matters and he is 6-7th highest in that. Not to mention before the season starts there will be several other QB contracts bigger than his (and he is better than the QBs who will be signing those). Gtfo if you think Goff didnt earn exactly what he got. He is OUR QB IN DETROIT!!
