I've used rental and personal skid steers all my life. Almost no matter the condition you can get it unstuck using the bucket. I've never once used a winch to get one unstuck and I've had them in worse condition than the one in video.
Operator and towing company not knowing how to use a skid steer.
they could of self recovered that. I have gotten out of worse mulching in the woods. just stack wood under the bucket till the pile is high enough for it to lift the tracks up some with the bucket then start feeding wood under the tracks probably a little shovel action around the tracks too so they can get spinning then with wood under the tracks reduce pile for the bucket and use the curling action to pull the machine forward. its way more fun to do with a big mulcher on the machine so your points to push down with it are very limited but once you get some wood under the tracks its pretty much out
Rental customers don't usually know how to do that.
I totally agree can't believe that thing would not have the hydraulic power to move itself out. I had a similar situation with a bobcat 773 and it was on wheels no track, my work buddy couldn't get it out. I think I embarrassed him when got it out lol
I had a piggyback forklift fall through something like this, it was a mess. It was a new home site in a swamp. The builder put about 18 inches fill on top of swamp and it didn't take a lot to break through it. This fill was literally floating on top of a river of mud. I suspect that the foundation of that new house will crack within a few years.
That is super common here in Florida
Carpet Baggers will buy anything in Florida and developers will be more than glad to sell those suckers anything.
He had a bucket to push himself out.
Your bucket will walk you right out of it. Push cutting edge in ground and curl like your filling bucket and it will walk you right out .
Exactly!!
Another recovery done well.
Customer had no idea what he was doing. It could have been faster and easier if the thing was not running.
Use the bucket pointing down and scoop backward
I’m trying to get some scotch blocks made locally.
not bashing but the other guy dosen't show us these things. keep p the good works. you be doing some serious recovery mannn
I believe I could have used the front bucket and got myself unstuck. I've done it a few times in multiple tractors.
Impressive!
That skid steer wasn't stuck 😂. Dude had no clue how to run that thing
Are you on forties and stronger axles. I am new to off roading and I was wondering what mods you made to your truck. I have a stock Mojave Gladiator. This is my favorite recovery channel...

What evidence do you have that rental skids have less power?
The proper name is " chock block" I have used them for years.
Proper name is “Scotch Blocks”
Everybody thinks they are an operator until the turn the key and it doesn’t work the way they think it should
Could have used a bucket to bucket Walk It Out
Someone messed up but you’ll get it

@@austinjahn5850what part of Florida are you in. We do meet ups all the time
Once every 3 years I go down there in the area of Destin Fl
With what you do, why not run hydraulic winches?
New jeeps run an electric hydro pump not a belt driven one for the power steering
And it’s like a $4000 kit to convert it
That’s pretty much the only reason
