Hickory alignment sticks look good. I wish the putter was available to the regular golfer. I watched the You Tube from Woburn, went there had my clubs fitted, even better than anticipated! Surprised the Big Dog headcover didn't appear on the driver?

Just finished revamping my golf bag / clubs after a lot of years. Amazing how interconnected all of my clubs were. One change often impacted not just a specific club, but adjacent clubs up and down the bag as well. It's interesting to watch how you and others go thru the same process and your reasoning for each choice. I often learn little tidbits of information to keep in mind for myself. Best of luck with your new team of clubs.

Thanks for the WITB, Iona. I've a hybrid 5 rescue club with a Recoil shaft that is just about the easiest thing to hit in my bag. My 5 wood has the Tensei shaft and it performs for me just as you describe your 5 wood. All the best on your travels!

I still have a set of AP2's with steel shafts I bought about 13 years ago (fitted, but without Trackman). Still love them, but at age 67, wonder what I might be missing out on! The hickory sticks I would be keen on - the less plastic around, the better!
That’s a fabulous set up, I too are in the process of getting fitted for the T 100’s on the bottom half and T 150’s at the top. I’m excited and can’t wait for them to come in
Good morning Iona, everything i have heard about the T100's has great. I have AP2's with rifle shafts, best i have ever had. Just upgraded my woods to TSI 1's love them to bits. I have a use for a couple of hickory sticks, LOL

Great video again and very interesting. I’ve just started doing some focused work on the range and would be interested in the hickory sticks. I’ve replaced all but my putter in the last 6 months and treated myself to new clubs after about 20 years with my old ones! Love some of the useful tips you pass on to us…..Thanks Iona

I'm also a firm believer that the vast majority of speed comes from technique. I have a very similar speed to you having lost a good 10mph or so over the past 2 years, through swing changes. Keen to see what changes you find to recover lost speed. Cheers.
Also have the tsr2 5/7 wood, it’s a dream to hit, struggled getting an 18 degree hybrid out of the rough so made the switch, amazing club. Paired with a 16.5 tsr 2 3/4 wood can’t recommend enough . Great choice Iona! And really want that putter 😍
Great shaft tips Iona. Heavier Reg vs lighter stiff. Despite my 6i swing at about 87-90mph, I find heavier Reg R300 (127g) shafts work so much better for me than a lighter Stiff S300 (105g). I loose lighter shafts left, where as R300 flies so much more stable...... plus I feel the head better with a heavier shaft with nop real difference in dispersion.
Love a good WITB! Always interesting, I use the sock style head overs to protect my shafts, these new headcovers feel like they are designed to allow the shaft to wear out so you have to buy a new club every couple of years… I fancy a hickory alignment stick, they look a lot more premium then the crappy plastic ones!
Totally get it … well executed … i am definitely going to get my fitter to look at a combo shaft …. I had a bad shoulder injury ironically caused whilst taking my lab Roxie and spaniel Rosie for a walk …. And as an ex professional looking to get back into golf I think it could be a good option . Excellent content as usual … the shaft of a golf club is the engine room , club head to an extent is cosmetic.

Fascinating! I think it’s great that you have a personal relationship with your clubs. My clubs are quite cliquey. The issue seems to be between the 7 and 8 iron (8 and 9 hang with the wedges, 7 hangs with mid-irons etc.). A decent shot by the 8 iron for example creates soooo much resentment and turmoil for the 7 iron and that group. Although, if I’m honest, the 8 does become insufferable after a good shot…becomes very braggy I find. Woods are the grown-ups, so try and provide some semblance of order and putter is the youngest sibling (so everyone loves the putter). Golf can be exhausting, eh. Thanks for video. I play those shafts; give them a couple of rounds & you will love them. Helps with my tennis elbow & low back issues. Good luck. Keep up the great content. 🤙🏼
Hey Iona, popping over from the "On the road community". First of all, Happy Diwali 😇 💚 the bag walkthrough. I play with an 8yr old set of P770's and tested the new Titleist T100-150-200 irons recently. Wow 😍. No wonder you like those T100's. Love the top line view, almost presenting like a blade. With the 150, 200's the option to get some help through the top of the set as now I'm into middle age the clubhead speed is a challenge to maintain, so gives me option to go for a blended set. They have done an amazing job with those irons. Wedges: Ever since I was a kind never been able to see past Vokey wedges and love my SM7's although need a bit more rust like yours. Keep up the great work, bringing the love-obsession with golf to our screens 👏

Your 3-wood is a 4-wood. I have the same one and love that club. Little bit smaller head and 16,5 degrees of loft makes all the difference for me with these clubs.

After my wrist injury, I played Project X 5.5 Graphite for about 10 years (before TT Rifle S300) - The graphite certainly softened the impact. Just regained enough strength to go to Modus 105 R. Didn't know about Composite, and that option isn't a standard one from Mizuno. Thanks for the info. PS and my 7i is 150 yards

About time I changed my T200’s. Hickory alignment sticks with markings on to assist with ball position is a great idea and really curious how, when and what your going to do over the next few months to increase that swing speed? 🏴
Another excellent video. Would be interesting to know which iron do you start from as lots of people start at 5 iron nowadays. I've had a couple of sets of Recoil shafts in my irons over the years, they're excellent but do get marked fairly easily. I've just installed a set of Recoil 95 f3's (regular) in my Mizuno jpx 919 Hot Metal irons and they feel very good.
I enjoyed the video, i liked the reasoning behind your choice of clubs, i have similar reasoning, i had yonex irons , but hve just had custom ping i525 and glide 4 wedges. Absolutely love them. Would like to know what ball you use, im guessing its a prov 1 . Hope you play well with your clubs especially when chasing the red. All the best
I could do with some sticks, Iona. I tend to use my clubs when im out on the course on my own, but unfortunately I can’t do that in the winter as I don’t want to get my clubs wet (only joined a club this year)🤦🏼♂️🙈🏌🏻⛳️

Quick question but do you play a standard men's length shaft or are they an inch shorter? Jemmas roughly the same height but has always had her clubs approx -1 inch. Really nice video and interesting for one who is likely to make a change in irons once the new season starts. Out of interest did you try the Fujikura AXIOM Graphite shafts? I struggle with my speed since my technique is far from being on point, and my head is kinda saying that " I WANT STIFF SHAFTS" next, but lets see what the fitting will say and if like you say it may make sense if i go with a lighter shaft in a different material than steel this time. Keep the videos coming and more from the range with technical guidance is very welcome ;) Cheers from the community

Wrist concern. Sole depth and profile. Sounds like Srixon and Ben Hogan will deliver a better sole/turf interaction. They do for me.

Really nice video and interesting for one who is likely to make a change in irons once the new season starts. Out of interest did you try the Fujikura AXIOM Graphite shafts? I struggle with my speed since my technique is far from being on point, and my head is kinda saying that " I WANT STIFF SHAFTS" next, but lets see what the fitting will say and if like you say it may make sense if i go with a lighter shaft in a different material than steel this time.
