Cedar trees would be a good idea for shaping between rounds. Laces in hot water for around 15 mins then clean with a drop of washing up liquid then rinse. 👍
Yeah, biggest regret when getting these golf shoes was not getting trees, so great tip there. Won’t be making that mistake with my next pair, that’s for sure!!
I regularly apply leather conditioner cream to my cleaned leather shoes (golf and regular shoes) before applying a colour matched cream polish. Do it from day one, it stops the cracking. Shoes will last a LONG time 👍🏻
Great tip, Cindy. I've just taken delivery of three new pairs of FJ's and will be taking better care from day one. The cracking on my Packards has always bothered me but in truth, I didn't care for them as I should. I've also invested in some shoe trees to help them keep their shape. Thanks for sharing your tip - it's appreciated!
Very good vid always good to get some tips I’ll try the pink stuff - thanks btw I find getting a good leather cleaner/polish gives a better finish than the whitener. Ecco do a nice white polish product . Nice review 👍
Cheers for the kind comment - appreciate that! The pink stuff really does work well, as you can see, but don’t use on new or nearly new shoes and maybe test on a discrete area first. Great shout about the polish. I actually did some further reading after making this video and read somewhere else about polish vs whitener. They said exactly what you did, so I’ll give that a try next time. Hope those shoes come out shining!
Nice tip - thanks for that Bob. I've invested in three new pairs of golf shoes for the season ahead which I will be keeping in much better condition than these. Shoe trees have been purchased and they'll not be getting stuffed in my golf bag. What are your go to shoes for golf?
I have just taken delivery of 3 new pairs of FJ's and the first thing I did was order shoe trees for each of them. Never bothered before (stupidly) but won't be making that mistake again!

Put the laces in a bowl with detergent and water. Swirl around and leave for 15 minutes.
