Can confirm getting the processes right early works. Your vids helped me get the confidence to start. Been going 6 weeks. Currently 46 active, sold 31 with avg sale price of $55. Postage has now become the easiest of things having been the most daunting to begin. Have another 300ish items to list and have learnt to stop looking for items so I don’t have a nightmare death pile. Thanks for the vids, keep em coming!
This made me realise I need to shift my mind set on hauls or items given to me. Time to do a ruthless cull, and donate what shouldn't be sold. It can be a little ( or a lot ) overwhelming.
Great video. I agree with not getting too big too quickly - I try to keep my listings to around 500 otherwise things get more difficult. I’m fortunate that I just sell for fun & have room to store stuff but there are some items I’ll need to get rid of. When out shopping I calculate whether to buy something or not by working out if I can make AT Least 4 X times my purchase price, lots make much more of course. I also charge postage for everything & for me that feels right. Everyone does it differently. I upload about 3 new items per day - no stress
@@TheAussieFlipper I also agree with you that people get overwhelmed by too much stock & then feel like they’re drowning! Better to keep it small & simple if they can.
Bubble mailers are cheaper if you buy in bulk. Even cheaper if you don't buy from the post office but buy from that online shop. Eh, what's it called? Oh I know! It's called EBAY!!😂😂
Thanks for this ! think i need to hire someone to kick me to remind me to look at the sell through rate. Any tips on what you do with the items from a big pick that don't go on to sell ? just got a consignment deal from house clean up and now sitting on a lot of stuff that is just to low of price online or just doesn't sell
Always informative content. Question for you guys, there is an app you use that tells you your profit from your goods you list on eBay. I've seen you use it several times on your videos, and you have said what it is called. I might give it a try. Just trying to get out of low cost items. I sell a lot of them but trying to elect on higher return items. Cheers. Keep at it.

Gday from Perth loving your content and am learning alot, just wondering what size and brand of shelving you are using mate. 👍
Apple shelving is the company can’t remember the size
Hi Matt. How are the shoes on consignment going. 😊
Super slow unfortunately may need to lower the price
Hey matt how come you dont use padded mailers? Come with bubblewrap and so much cheaper
Love the vids btw 😊
i need to look into that!
Bubble mailers don’t count towards your MyPost Business account, so don’t count toward your band level.
Neither do the tracked envelopes which Matt already uses.
@@Hilton_P yes but they are so incredibly cheap. Most at the post office cos between 1-4 dollars
