Were you affected by the Optus outtage?
got lucky just changed to vodafone about a month ago!
No but my router died! Fortunately I have a Testra hot spot thingie we use when travelling. Magazines that size fit in a A3 envelope, untracked you get a little back. so not a total loss.
We are on Amaysim on our phones who use Optus. 😥
BUT we use iiNet NBN internet at home so all good - sort of.
I’m with Telstra but everyone else was optus so everyone was hot spotting off my phone.
Another reason we can't go cashless.

what I like about you is that you are always looking for ways to improve your business, yes to do so is to your advantage, if you want to do better you have to be willing to change and adapt. you are honest with yourself, that helps. and you do occasionally reap the benefits. hard slog sometimes but it pays. good on you.

Yes! What a fun day yesterday was! I was out from 9am-4pm thrifting, encountered about 6 shops with no eftpos… not good 😅 Thats why I always have cash on me!

Yeah, I had the same thing here. We had some issues running my concreting business, but we got through it. But it's just another point that going digital for everything is convenient but also problematic. Which is why both options should always be available.

You should be able to get those Street Machine magazines into a $6.95 tracked envelope? Still not ideal, and definitely best to sell as a bundle.

The more I’m watching these videos the more I get confused on how your making enough especially to have an employee also. Working off a $300 sales day I wouldn’t be able to have an employee. Maybe there is higher returns from RUclips videos on an eBay business rather then eBay itself??

I also got stung with 'Opt-out' (only on 'phone though, not on home internet). I think you did well there, using the knowledge you have built up to have an educated guess on what you think something's worth, and the margins. It's a good test.
I used to go with the sausage and egg (McD's breakfast), but found that it was too greasy (you know the instant regret you get when there's that 'McD's 'grease aftertaste'... not good. I usually go bacon and egg from there now (much prefer to make it myself though).
Great to see Jamie back listing... and selling well! We don't know what he's paying for the items, but at an average price of $59.50ish per item, that's a great average selling price for him (and for anyone!). If the sell-through rate is high, and his effort to acquire and send off the items are low, then he can definitely reduce his margins, to get them out the door. He knows his stuff, and is still so young!

Hey Matt. Ps vita needs a special charging brick. Definitely google it otherwise if someone buys it and try's it on a generic charger it might not charge for them. Also you can find out the size easy it has expandable memory. Generally it's a 4gb cad the big micro sd cards like 64gb are worth alot on there own

I personally am a bacon egg and cheese Mcmuffin kinda guy
they usually have "as is" on items in charity shops as the items are mostly used and second hand, so it just covers the charity shop against any legal liabilities, the onus in a way is on the purchaser to check on its condition as there maybe some faults which is expected due to items being secondhand. I know Vinnies have a As Is on all their clothing label tags even though the majority of items probably don't have any issues at all with condition.
Definitely lifeline shops have it on every item

For the magazines can't you post them in a padded mailer and just affix some stamps?
My fave for breakfast is the Egg McMuffin, which is egg, cheese and Canadian ham. Plus, it's only about 300 calories, which I believe beats the sausage biscuit which is higher in fat and calories. FYI.

Also couldnt you send the Wheels magazines as a large letter? I would put it in a big envelope from cheap as chips, they sell a really big padded envelope there. Or else I'd brown paper it with cardboard on either side
