Wow you covered a lot more of what this game has than practically any other impressions videos i watched, this has made me even more excited for this game. Thanks for the very detailed and comprehensive preview.
Tbh im just excited because I love the world of Pandora. Being able to freely walk around in it was my 14 year old selfs dream in 2009. Only nitpick i have is I dont like the 3rd person flying, I would rather it all be first person.
I feel the opposite I wish we had the entire thing in 3rd person so we could see our character, or even be able to toggle between first and third person. But I feel the same when it comes to the game and the world of Pandora I’ve been waiting so long for them to make another game that didn’t suck the way the PlayStation one did, and the open world concept plus the clear deep immersion of the game makes me stupidly excited to play.
@@sydneyh5352i respect your opinion but I fell like first persons makes you fell like you are the character and if you want to make the best of the first person play in a dark room with headphones makes of much better😊
@@sydneyh5352 That's strange. I am the opposite. In real life, I con only see what is in front of me. It really takes me out of the game to be staring at my character's back the whole time. In 1st person, you see what your character sees...immersion. In 3rd person, you see your character's entire body...completely unnatural and distracting. Also, when fighting, you shouldn't be able to see what's going on behind you, just like it would be in real life.
All the things from these previews are good to see. Massive is a very talented team, their mission design from the division games are fantastic. It is still gonna be an open world game but if it’s a quality game that’s all I want.

I can't wait. I'm counting the days. Definitely going to pre order this one. It reminds me, so much, of the horizon games. They are my all time favourite games. I hope Pandora is just as good or better.
I wish the game had some more cool open world events that happen. Like you can come across some navi attacking RDA soldiers and help them and they reward you, or you can come across Navi who are hunting animals and you can assist them in doing so. Ik the game won’t feature these cuz it’s a Ubisoft game they make great looking open worlds but often times don’t include things like this to make it feel more alive
I mean you never know. He did say you come across a lot of different things including Na’vi out in the wild and there is a shot where there is one hunting. He already said it was different than a lot of Ubisoft games because of the character panel (forget the name) being very simplistic unlike most other Ubisoft games. So there could be some other big differences. Regardless it seems like this game is going to be anything but boring and that there’s always going to be something you can do.

First: the video you are commenting on shows those kinds of things. Second: these preview videos are from a limited, preview build. The release will likely be different in a number of ways, not the least of which being the amount and types of content.
Imagine raiding a camp at night. The first thing they would do is turn on a bunch of flood lights, assuming they weren't on already. A person in a tower would also be responsible for shining a spotlight on either you or your last known location. By contrast, the gameplay I saw of your night raid looked like a dark purple mess with no dynamic lighting indicating this sort of thing. This is where games are at, and it's a combination of prioritizing pixels-per-inch detail in leaves and wall textures over stuff that matters, like dynamic lighting and AI.
If you are looking for realism, this isn't the franchise for you. lol An alien planet millions of miles from Earth. 10 foot tall blue people. Riding flying lizard creatures. But the thing that doesn't seem real is a lack of a spotlight in a nighttime raid. 👍
@@NotSoFast71 So you've set the bar incredibly low for game development, have you? Okay, keep buying Bethesda titles, then. There's no hope for some, I guess.

Agreed, but they aren't left handed, though. They use their right hand for picking fruits and plants, and they shoot the gun right-eye dominant. I wonder why they chose to make the bow animation left handed.

Personally I don’t mind if the combat is simple because I’m not big on shooter games (I prefer melee) so I do hope the combat doesn’t get much more complicated than you’ve said it does just in my personal opinion. Regardless this game looks incredible just for the beauty of the open world (which I think is the thing that I’m most excited about). Thanks for sharing everything you got to experience, I want to be a game tester just so I can play this a month early 😂👍
This looks so incredibly good. Also, lots of potential to keep adding new things to the open world over time, like CDPR did in Cyberpunk 2077. Hopefully the story is riveting and tragic too, and not bland. This game looks like it could be amazing and game of the year material but they need to polish it more by the time it’s released. Some of the visuals looked terrible and some movement looked very clunky. The combat also doesn’t look too smooth
another way of describing it is an open world natural jungle setting with parcor elements, its something it did not know about the game and makes it much more attractive but i was already sold on the game before that. the combat is vey basic, its does not even have stealth kills, but hopefully thay can work on that. i have seen a lot of videos on this and the only downside i can see is the ocassional pop up but thats expected as its in most games with large open areas. it could have been a cash grab riding on the name but they have gone all in and made a great game and it could be one of the best games from a movie so far as the others have been real stinkers.
Super looking forward to playing this when it goes on sale. Not seeing a real worth of 70 bucks here from a story or gameplay point, but visually it’ll be some fun eye candy to enjoy at some point.

Hello, can you please inform if character is voiced or mute like far cry?
Voiced
another way of describing it is an open world natural jungle setting with parcor elements, its something it did not know about the game and makes it much more attractive but i was already sold on the game before that.
the combat is vey basic, its does not even have stealth kills, but hopefully thay can work on that.
i have seen a lot of videos on this and the only downside i can see is the ocassional pop up but thats expected as its in most games with large open areas.
it could have been a cash grab riding on the name but they have gone all in and made a great game and it could be one of the best games from a movie so far as the others have been real stinkers.
very nice. probably an auto buy for if. *IF* no always online requirement. hate those
Super looking forward to playing this when it goes on sale. Not seeing a real worth of 70 bucks here from a story or gameplay point, but visually it’ll be some fun eye candy to enjoy at some point.

Was going to put basically the same thing but changed my mind. Glad to see someone would've have got it, lol.
I hope they add in third-person view after the full game comes out it looks shit playing the game in first-person view. I would like to play a full game in the third person view to see my character and outfits while running around.
Looks nice
I'm really not sure who this is for.
I hope we don’t have to go 1st person
Yeh, it does look good, but I just can't bring myself to care about avatar currently. Maybe it's the world being so black and white that just picks at my brain.
Nah, i'm just waiting. Even at this point the game sells for almost 50% on some websites, but i'm not going to buy it even like that. Would be different if it had 3rd person, probably, but even so ...
I think this game will be loved by avatars fans. Ppl who dont care much for it probably won't be overly excited
Idgaf about Avatar, but I'm very excited to play this.
😬 You weren't allowed to show any of the menus or maps. You might want to take this down before Ubisoft sees.
This dude is such a shill it’s hilarious.
Would be better in third person. This just isn’t the setting for FPS…
