Well in theory you can get the Tips from BMW parts and then get either (very popular) Akrapovič, or the more economic but good sounding Eisenmann, and try to adapt/fit the tips.
I believe its worth it. Can you tell me you feel more connected to the car with the MPE? Because it's how I felt- it provided more to the experience , the feedback when you are slowing down and high reving is beautiful. How are you still loving it?
It's a friends car but he sure is loving it! And it's opening up a bit more with the added mileage so I think it'll only sound better and leave him feeling that much more connected to one hell of a car!
Quality and weight of MPE is not very great, we had few customers who wanted to replace the exhaust ASAP. Eisenmann or Supersprint are way to go. They are cheaper, lighter, sound better, you got more HP and the quality is unbeatable.
While I don't have first hand experience, I'd certainly believe what you're saying! The main benefit of the MPE is maintains the OEM+ aesthetic... if it were my $'s, I'd probably go with your advice 👍
I don’t care what any one said, my M2C sound great, it have its own unique sound, most people who saying it don’t sound good is those who can’t formulate their own opinion but believe and listen to some RUclipsrs that said it don’t sound good, every person I met who don’t know much about these car, as soon and they hear it they said wow, that sound good
Trust me, I agree!! I like how S55's sound 😎 I'm not sure this exhaust is worth the money compared to how nice it already sounds stock, but it's even meaner!
Hi I have an M2 with stock exhaust. Figuring if I should upgrade to the MPE??? I have been offered a good price for it and considering to change. Is it worth it? Cant really appreciate in video. I guess I wont regret it right?
I had a 2018 one. sold it In Covid. Always wanted to upgrade exhaust. But the m performance seems price gauging for what it is. I was split between Eisenmann or Akrapovič. Best sound in my op and way cheaper ~ 3.5k for the part and they give you an ECU tune file. If I get the new M2 of the Z4 manual I will definitely be installing that.
I have an MPE on my 2022 M340i and I love. It would have been nice to gain a little horsepower with my purchase though. (That would be my only regret vs. going with another company).
Haha I fully respect your opinion... it kinda does -- the S55 in the M2C sounds "better" than in the M3/4. But yes, it ultimately exacerbates a sound that is polarizing within the community!
You know... while I don't agree that stock is better (mic couldn't fully pick up the difference) I do agree that stock sounds plenty good and I'm not sure this was worth the money!
Do you guys think this MPE is worth the money??
Perfect for my van
@@SeanGriffith7 yessir 😅😅

MPE sounds great
It sure does... even better in person. The mic couldn't pick up the full tone!
Excellent video. Thanks man
Appreciate it!!
Hell of a review 🔥
Exhausts going crazy
Yessir!! Thanks brotha
Does the m performance exhaust void the factory warranty of the car?
No sir! That's actually one of the main perks of the MPE over other aftermarket options -- it was made specifically for this car by BMW!!
@@ReonizDoes it pass CA smog tests?

Get the Dinan and save $4,000! Sounds just as good honestly
Great review, does this need one of those Bluetooth remote valve opener?
No that's only for the OG M2, the comp integrates the MPE just like an m3 or m4

What aftermarket exhaust do you recommend for a 340/440i ?
I'm not an expert on aftermarket exhaust, but you can find a lot of info on Bimmerpost... personally I'd recommend the MPE muffler!

will it make me mom’s car go vroom vroom?
It absolutely will!!
Can I put this in my 2019 440i 4 series?
If it’s just in the back, not worth it. Maybe worth it for a full system. Maybe tho
Sits kind of low def have to buy the rear carbon diffuser if you get this
With OPF?
Doesn’t sound like it should cost 5 grand. Sounds more throaty but thats really it, 5 racks for this mod is definitely a waste.
The M performance exhaust system has a more open sound.
Ya it definitely does, even more perceptible in person
Money is dust😂
By the way, what material is it made of? And it would be nice to supplement the video review of the lower part of the car
@@Geoly82 it's just made of stainless steel, not titanium unfortunately
I decided, but do you need the dimensions of the package? Do you know them?
Does it add HP or torque?
Not in any significant way, maybe ~5 of each on a good day
how much ?
About $5600 installed with carbon tips
Wait did you say this exhaust is $5500
pls share me the link to buy this awesome M performance exhaust
Look up 'BMW M2C M Performance Exhaust' and you'll see plenty options!
Sound good. It's just ugly looking the way it hangs down so low. Guess it is what it is.
The M2C seems to be plagued by the utter 🐄... I don't mind it as much as some
Can you retro fit this exhaust? Anyone know the part numbers if so?
On which car? The OG and LCI M2 have a single pipe exhaust. The Competition is dual pipe. Won't fit without customisation.
We manufacture this product at a price that is at least 30% cheaper than this
stock sounds better imo, mpf sounds like a huge empty hollow chamber made of thin metal and someone farting in it...
So it brings out the worst in the S55 imo.

This sounds like garbage on a M4, but M4 exhaust sounds terrible no matter what.
