I don't have this one, but I have 2 Condor Mini Duku's which are just a slightly smaller version of the same knife. One is in carbon, pretty sure it is 1075 and the other is 420HC. I am in the mountains of W.V. and there is a lot of undergrowth on my property and in the woods during summertime. These machetes get the job done. I will say that the 1075 will take a little bit of minor edge damage on hard wood. The next time I sharpen it I will make the edge a little more obtuse. The 420hc version remains to be tested.
Timbo is awesome with an awesome collection as he is responsible for me buying some knives...Nice use of that Condor as I like Condor knives, parangs, and machete's....Good stuff....
As is pretty much common with Condor, it came dull as a butter knife, so ya, it's sporting my edge lol. Condor has a lot of great designs, but they can't sharpen a knife to save their lives. I'm glad you liked it brother. I think it's one of my best choppers, and lord knows I got a fair bunch of those! You guys killed that tree with ease!
awesome Machete my Brother, love timbo and im allready a subscriber, love condor and theyr Stuff, own some condor knifes and i love them, awesome Video my Brother and much love to you and Megatron
Hi Scab another fabulous review! You demonstrated exactly what was needed to fully understand the Condor Parang!! I am going to get the Condor Bushcraft Parang based on your review!
Dig this one Mr.Scab! Mr.timbo is good good people! Those orange straps didn't stand a chance on Mr.timbos edge! Miss ya bruv! Hope y'all have an amazing day! Cheers, kimmers and jerbs 👍🏼🇺🇸🔥🔪🔥🇨🇦👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I've had one of them for a few years now and really like it. Mine has the wood handles on it. I'm no knife expert by any means, but you have to be careful with it as it's got some heft to it VS a typical machete that most people are use to using. For the money, it has served me well.
Good day Brother Scab! I must say I love the look of Condor's Parang! I was almost gonna buy this instead of the Terava Skrama 240, but I'm glad I didn't as from my understanding it's more suited to softer wood species and since I live kiinda far north most of what's in the woods here is hardwood! (With the odd birch here and there) Good stuff brother and as always, keep on keeping on and cheers from Sweden! 🇸🇪🙏 P.s Congratulations on the weight loss brother!! 💪🥳🎉🎉
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors Same here, best damn purchase I ever made! Well, after my Morakniv Bushcraft Black(carbon) that is! 😁 Could you maybe do a revisit to the Skrama? 😇🙏
Folks will say that there's no use for a machete up here but I would beg to differ. As long as one isn't trying to take giant grown a** trees then it does just fine. (I mean who's building cabins out there anyway?) I will say that you do want an axe for chopping firewood on the homestead but a good heavy machete & a folding saw will get you through most situ's.
"Anything over zero is simply unacceptable" Vets know that we love you and your very much appreciated! Thank you for your services!

🇺🇸🙋♀️ Niceee and sharp Scab! Been thinkin about a Machete type for a while now!
What's your "target" wood species?
Soft, medium or hardwood? 🤔

Like minded homies! Love ya Mr.joe! 🇺🇸🔥🔪🔥🇨🇦

A beast!!!
Makes hard work look easy. Actually, it looks more fun than work.
Absolutely! This thing is wicked good
The Bushcraft Prang is an incredibly ergonomic, efficient, and powerful chopper. If I have heavy clearing to do, it's one of my favorites.
I adore it!
just got one last week, mine came razor sharp
Parang choppers make short work of many of my bushcraft tasks. I have to pick up another. Be well, Scab.

I purchased this tool about 2 years ago, and it has pretty much replaced my hatchet.
I almost bought that machete but pulled the trigger on a Fox Jungle Parang. Hair shaving sharp. Best grip.

I've had the same blade for years, except mine has a wood handle and leather sheath.
