- Milwaukee Magnetizer Set 48-32-4550: Great performance. Great Price. Two bits and strong magnetic collar.
Here it is on Amazon for three-times the price of it at Home Depot: amzn.to/3PTEJYJ
I see you choose the Dewalt driver to test the Milwaukee bit, 😂
I think that voids the warranty.
I rarely use phillips head screws anymore but like other commenters, it fits great on torx, hex, and square bits I use. When I am working on something that does have phillips screws (like replacing the fuse in my microwave), I slip it on my screwdriver and the screws stick to like they are glued on. Great little device to have.
I suppose Milwaukee is employing the ideas of Japans leading bit makers. Thats fine, I just wish they focused a little more on perfecting their bits. My guess would be Milwaukee bits are S2 out of Taiwan?
Hello again, Doc
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I'll have to give this a try 😀 Again thank you
I got my Makita ones on Amazon a couple years ago for like $3.97
I only use screws with square drive heads, SQ1 or SQ2. No magnetic bit needed. Each time I go back to Europe (am based in New Zealand), I am baffled when people tell me they've never heard of those.
Will have to pickup a set of these!
These are the best magnetizers because they can fit over and work with hex & torx keys due to its rubber, flexible body.
I've got several of these since they came out last year. They work great specifically for the shock wave bits. Wish milwaukee offered them in sets without the bits or with different bit options. I use a lot of hex and don't need more phillips.
Ordered from Home Depot and the shipping was free for me, so...can't imagine why Amazon is so out of whack on the pricing for this.
I mostly use magnetic shaft and the small bits but this looks amazing for all the long bits that i see EVERYONE using and fumbling with zero magnetism. Why guys WHY? It’s a PIA to always hold the screw on the bit.
I have all the makita dewalt vessel engneer ect magnetic add-ons and these seem to work the best for me hadmibe for about a year. I do 1000s of t10 trim screws every week and it keeps me drop dropping screws along with keeping some level of retention. They also conform over odd shaped bits. The other day I had to drill in a area that was finished and there was no touch up paint (metal box) so these collected all the metal shavings on a drill bit. Also used one on a drill tap for a 8-32 hole as well worked well. Alot of uses for these beyond just screws and since there flexible they are unique.
They fit vessel bits down to t7 really well many slim bits don't work with the other brands
nice, want some. however unfortunately (and like most other milwaukee accessories) simply cannot find these / get these over here in uk. very nice though! and thanks for sharing. agree they are pretty darned cool 😋
Sadly this does not seem to be available here in the uk .... just need to keep looking and hopefully it will arrive here
Cool
This has got to be a fake , you mean to tell me you pit a Milwaukee bit into a Dewalt drill and it didn't burst into flames ? Yeah nice try !
If it makes you feel better, I borrowed the DeWalt not wanting to risk my own drill getting struck by lightning.
Makita makes a cheaper one that is no where near as good. Maybe a dollar cheaper but is hard plastic and fell apart on me. FYI.
