- Installing the roundhouse tracks is the first step of officially installing the roundhouse and turntable into a final position. Once completed, wiring of the tracks to a switch to allow DCC to control the selected bay will be possible.
Also testing the position of interior lighting before mounting is needed so that holes can be drilled to run the wiring for them.

Bob, everything looks great, however I am concerned about using the Testors glue to hold the tracks inside the roundhouse as it is a plastic cement and as such it will not actually bond to the rail. Plastic cement / glue is a solvent glue that chemically melts the plastic and when you put the plastic parts together both sides of the joint are softened / melted and that commingles and the solvent flashes off basically leaving both parts as one. So when you start running trains in and out of the roundhouse the rails will most likely pop loose. CA glue ( super glue ) is more of an adhesive that bonds many different materials together surface to surface at a molecular level without any commingling of the materials being bonded together.

Enjoyable. I have 36 bays with my Freischmann turntable for my N scale layout, American theme, albeit I live in Scotland, but have a base in Long Island City. If you are at Trainfest, I will look out for you. I am booked for two days, flying up from LGA, on the Friday.
