Why would I tank? I don’t believe I tanked. I thought initially before he showed his cards, cuz he could have full houses, flushes, etc… Then after he showed the 8, I assumed he was likely doing it with 88, or maybe 85? I didn’t think he’d use that strategy with A8

I've faced that kind of action facing QJs before. It's a pretty common hand to threebet - fair enough, we've all done it - but facing a fourbet, that's when you quickly fold your queen-high. Someone forgot to tell him that last part. Oopsie.

Bro… Jackie Chan adventures.. memories…. I love the edit and the vlogs most importantly. Thank you for making quality and down to earth content! Keep it up!!!
Not sure if Jun was angling with pocket 10’’s or he really thought they were that good. It’s not like he dominated that board, with second pair and no draws. I’ve seen this happen a few times at gardens, guys telling me to fold for my own good, but never had anyone offering a rebate.
Yeah it was a little unclear to me what he was thinking - maybe a mix. Either way, I’m always under the mentality that at the end of the day, my final decision is my choice, for better or worse
no question it was an angle, especially with the Ace on the turn. If Jun really wanted to give a friendly hint, he would've just re-raised All In after the flop.
I'll show you a card for a hundo, and another card for a hundo, when you have 225 left was the dumbest move I've seen in 5/5 HANDS DOWN. There is a small chance you fold for the reasons you stated... but when you saw the non-heart no way you fold for another 125..... Keep it up brotha!
I love the video where you punted the ball that was hilarious. Just remember if you don’t get caught bluffing, then you’re not bluffing enough. You got a lot of heart and if he had any other hand that probably would’ve worked. Thanks for the vlog, I enjoyed watching

@@danielpoggensee8414 yeah it’s definitely not a recommended play. Maybe MAYBE, and this is a stretch, if he thought I had a weaker 8 specifically and I was just gonna fold, so he just wanted to eek out $100 of value

I dont understand the guys line in the 76c hand. The deal on the river would have turned that into an instant call for me. For the hand at 14:40, since I had a missed draw by the end, if my opponent bet the river I would’ve instamucked. I don’t think I would’ve bluff raised in that situation

I think it depends on a couple things. 1. How much edge you have on your opponents (the more edge, the deeper you can go) 2. What stack depth are you strongest/most comfortable in (for me it’s 100-150 BBs). That’s the biggest reason I don’t buy in super deep 3. Bankroll (don’t buy in for too big of a chunk of bankroll)
