I just saw you posted and literally dropped everything I was doing because brantzen posted. you have inspired me to start my own journey in poker which is a rollercoaster for sure but that’s poker and I would have never have done it if it wasn’t for you 😃

Everyone has bad days at work where they make mistakes. Most of us never have to worry that our bad days are going to be broadcast live to the world. Mad respect for taking a shot, and mad respect for continuing onward in spite of setbacks like these. In general, you play really solid, and I watch because hearing the way you think through hands helps me improve my own game. Thanks for pushing on through.

Hey man. First video of yours that I’ve watched. Just gotta say, it’s poker, the best players make mistakes constantly, it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Just try and learn from your mistakes and don’t be so hard on yourself, it’s supposed to be fun 😅

You definitely didn’t disappoint me. I’m proud of you that you had the opportunity to get to play on hustlers. Most of us will never have that opportunity not even once for several reasons. And you are playing against players who are all pretty decent players (besides on tilt and casino king). They are both the definition of fun players. Anyway you should hold your head up high. Because poker is not easy and I think most players would let the spot get to them even if it’s just a little bit.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and insights on what it's like for playing on a stream. It's easy for viewers to criticize every move, we are all guilty of it for sure. But as a player on the stream, you know it's going to happen so it's in the back of your mind. Takes guts to put yourself out there on the stream like that. Playing on stream seems like it can easily turn into a quicksand situation.

I believe your a great poker player. If your card dead or spot dead than there’s nothing you can really do but to pick the right hands to play. To me…you sound really hard on yourself. Maybe bc you have high expectations. It’s a huge disappointment when things don’t go the way we hoped and having expectations. I’m not one to judge on how someone might play one game of poker, but an average maybe. I try and not to judge anything but the cloths I have on for the day Idk know how it is to have to put up videos of poker playing. Thanks for showing me what it is like.

The best way to play is the way that makes the most money, that’s it! The viewers can’t say anything about you making a nifty fold to a bluff if you’re the stack leader at the table. Be greedy and sharp.

First thing you need to do on live stream is to not worry about anything or anyone committing on how you play. They are not there you are. Second you need to play your game against the players at the table as if it was your regular 5/5. Why because they are going to play that way because it is live and want the publicity. You are playing for your income right now. STOP worrying about everyone else and be yourself and play like the cameras are not there. GL bro

Mistakes are made. If you're not assessing mistakes after every session, you're making the biggest mistake of all. Unfortunately, in your position, especially on stream, everyone gets to see your mistakes. But even Polk, Owen, Neeme, and others who may or may not be on the Mt Rushmore of poker vloggers continue to make mistakes, and everyone sees it on stream. It happens. Some of these guys have a far bigger roll than you do, and that's hard to overcome sometimes. Sometimes you run bad. That's okay.
Stay within your bankroll, and exploit games you can beat easily until your bankroll has you in a more comfortable position to play in bigger games with deeper rolls like Mariano.
You're good, my guy. Don't beat yourself up. Being in a negative head space is the absolute worst thing that can happen to a poker player. Clear your mind, understand you know what you're doing. Control what you can control, and success will come. Count on it.

Except for the hand with 66, I don’t think you made any blunders. With JJ on the 6 turn you could bet small to fold out his perceived 15 percent or so equity, but you can still check back to bluff catch on many rivers if the guy is active/bluff happy on the river.

You should never be raising the turn vs anyone (the AKc hand vs casino fish), they’re going to have 6x way more then you, the only merit to shoving would be if you thought they were heavily weighted to Ax and wanted a chance to freeroll them, otherwise though you just shut down bluffs and only get called by Ax and 6x

Poker is the art of making the right decision. Poker is not all about winning or losing chips. The only thing that matters is making the right decision. It's between you and yourself. You live a dream, you live my dream playing poker for living dont make it a nightmare. Keep making that great content. You make a lot of people happy, myself including.

My advice. You live that moment and play your best at the table. Forget other people judgement, judge yourself.

The only disappointment is that your voice isn’t the same as your shorts

Great vlogs and I appreciate the honesty and humility. I've played with you at much lower levels of course and you are solid and a really good player who does great vlogs. I've played with some of the others and I would never play with them on the live stream or for that much because it seems to be entertainment more than solid poker most of the time. That leaves too much to luck and variance. It takes serious guts just to show up, play and show the results even when luck was not on your side. Keep going!
