I try to fold a lot of hands. And when my cards show up on the board and I see I woulda won if I didn’t fold it takes everything in me not to tell the table I fled the winning hand. It happened 3 times last week.

Probably 95+% of the poker players, aka your viewers, know in a poker session, average over 4-5 hours, most of your hands will be trash and unplayable (unless you are DK playing on Hustler’s live stream), so there’s really no need to show those. Every now and then an interesting hand comes up that’s worth recording. The most interesting hands, imo, are the ones that you outplay your opponent(s) to win the pot rather than losing if played “regularly”.
@brantzenpoker Yeah your channel and your format is gotta be what you think is best. But listening to some constructive feedback on what we like too is great. Can’t please everyone and I know you truly take to heart sometimes what the negative people will thing. I care about you as a human and love to see you being able to provide for your family!
Dude are you a poker pro or a nit misreg? If you are going to do this seriously you need to put in hours and do more than just bumhunt. Seems like all poker vloggers got into this job not realizing what they were signing up for.
Well I categorize myself as less of a pro and more of a profitable player who maximizes profitability through game selection. But yeah - the ultimate goal is to make the majority of my income through sponsorship and not from poker playing, like it currently is
For me it just came down to the direct math. I needed 28.5% equity or more for it to be a profitable call which isn’t a ton, but with one card to go I think I barely have that equity even if all my draws were live. If he had a set, straight, or pair plus higher flush draw, it would be pretty negative EV
