Also, the American justice system is based off of the framework that all are innocent until proven guilty. I'm not in the Kai camp but it crazy how you acting like Kai did something wrong outside of not giving information straight away. Since he was the event host, he went to the authorities after hearing both sides of the incident because he wanted the law to settle situation with as much information possible. In his own words, he approached him first to obtain his side of the story before reporting all sides to the relevant authorities and the victim. After all, you wouldn't give your longtime friend the benefit of the doubt and hear their side if they were accused of a serious offense you would never expect them to commit. But eluding that Kai and his friends rapists and creeps when he was just trying to celebrate with friends in his city after accomplishing a lot in his life last year is insane. When he didn't expect a horrible situation to happen at the event from one guy he thought he knew, but ended up being the person who was perpetrator to the victim. Even if I dislike Kai, attacking him for a dilemma he didn't cause while he's attempting to fix it legally is unethical. Kai's actions in this drama are normal because he never does drama, especially not to this extent, and he's trying to avoid getting tarnished over some idiot's horrific deed while he's abroad and not in the country helping the girl who was victimized. He seemed stressed out and highly emotional, but he should have handled the matter better. But not addressing the situation at all would have been worse, especially after the victim came forward, because it would have looked like he was trying to hide something. So his lawyers probably told him to say a statement because if he had one written out by his pr team, it would look manufactured and they probably thought it would be more authentic if Kai himself said something. The victim had a terrible experience in an event she believed was safe, and now the relevant channels must do their duties to prosecute Djigui Seck and stop him from terrorizing anymore ladies ever again. Overall, people should care more about the victim obtaining justice and less about hating on Kai, who is trying to do the right thing in this circumstance. Digui Seck should be arrested and jailed while the authorities investigate and hopefully the victim gets justice.

The boy is 21 just turned a full adult and was scared of the legal implications of getting himself into this situation. So he went to his legal team for advice and went with what they told him. I don't see why this is so incredibly difficult for people to see.
It's weird because any normal person would want to do the same, but being so upfront about it makes you look a bit wrong or guilty. He should have done a bit more texting her, because even if he isn't supposed to talk to either parties, it just looks/feels wrong to see him leave her in the dark about how much he knows about the suspected r*pist while she has to deal with it all on her own.

Also, the American justice system is based off of the framework that all are innocent until proven guilty. In the case of a violent criminal act, the standard is proven guilty *beyond reasonable doubt* . At the moment, everything is heresay, no hard evidence of everything. Once kai figured out/was told who Jovi is saying raped her, he stopped responding. Kai is doing nothing wrong. Now you may have an issue with Kai's initial text messages, but if any of us was told our best friend/brother raped someone, we'd all have the same reaction. And credit to kai, once he got an exact ID, he took the proper actions. Of course, I don't blame the woman for being emotional, assuming she is being truthful, but she was not professional in the way she handled her conversation with Kai. Her saying "Kai didn't help/Kai didn't do shit" means nothing because Kai didn't rape anyone. What does she expect him to do other than notify the police and get his affairs in order regarding the party (witnesses, camera footage, etc.)?

I'm not in the Kai camp but it crazy how you acting like Kai did something wrong outside of not giving information straight away. Since he was the event host, he went to the authorities after hearing both sides of the incident because he wanted the law to settle situation with as much information possible.
In his own words, he approached him first to obtain his side of the story before reporting all sides to the relevant authorities and the victim. After all, you wouldn't give your longtime friend the benefit of the doubt and hear their side if they were accused of a serious offense you would never expect them to commit.
But eluding that Kai and his friends rapists and creeps when he was just trying to celebrate with friends in his city after accomplishing a lot in his life last year is insane. When he didn't expect a horrible situation to happen at the event from one guy he thought he knew, but ended up being the person who was perpetrator to the victim.
Even if I dislike Kai, attacking him for a dilemma he didn't cause while he's attempting to fix it legally is unethical. Kai's actions in this drama are normal because he never does drama, especially not to this extent, and he's trying to avoid getting tarnished over some idiot's horrific deed while he's abroad and not in the country helping the girl who was victimized. He seemed stressed out and highly emotional, but he should have handled the matter better. But not addressing the situation at all would have been worse, especially after the victim came forward, because it would have looked like he was trying to hide something. So his lawyers probably told him to say a statement because if he had one written out by his pr team, it would look manufactured and they probably thought it would be more authentic if Kai himself said something.
The victim had a terrible experience in an event she believed was safe, and now the relevant channels must do their duties to prosecute Djigui Seck and stop him from terrorizing anymore ladies ever again.
Overall, people should care more about the victim obtaining justice and less about hating on Kai, who is trying to do the right thing in this circumstance. Digui Seck should be arrested and jailed while the authorities investigate and hopefully the victim gets justice.
