    Flux truly is your friend. That heating station is trick. They always just gave us those Junkie desoldering tools that most people know. Gonna have to repair mine, as they are the six-axis you have, and they never made them long. Great content my friend. Thanks for the small print and helpful tips.

    Well I bought a 5pk off of ebay which stated that they were for ps2, ps3, and xbox 360. I finally got the old one out, tried to put new one in and found out that 2 of the 4 pins for L3 and R3 buttons were farther away and would not fit!! So I went back to look for other ones and they all look the same as the ones I bought. So do I send them back for refund, or try bending those 2 pins?

  • @enriquebn4853

    You mentioned "4 pin" in the video but the link you have for ali express is a 3 pin. I am wondering which one is it really.

    • @nizzymo
      @nizzymo 6 дней назад

      You have to do a little digging for a 4 pin, since they only used them in specific models. They're harder to find. They probably got rid of all the 4 pin stock they had so it only shows a 3 pin.

      Rashad Abdullah it doesn’t affect the tension of the joystick. It affects only the response of the directions. If you want to replace the joystick just desolder it without the the original potentiometer and solder the new joystick.

      That was the flux residue that burned. A soldering iron would never burn the board like that, especially all the way down the side. At 9:45 you can see how clean (and not burned) it is.
