      @@wolfbehemoth13 LOL.
Can't say that really sounds like the worst thing though.
Honestly would be nice if in some of these categories there is a little more practical and a little less advanced.
Being told you can't get Basic 782 Gear issued at your command or funding shortfalls stopping personnel from being able to train together in the field as a Unit; followed by all the hype in the media about everyone else in the world getting what they need can make morale and cohesion suffer.
Any number of circumstances and rationale case by case to go with that statement I made. But at its core, generally speaking it really kicks a Service Member in the dick when they aren't equipped by their Country but so many others are equipped by the same country that wouldn't take care of their own.
Now Yall can go into the Geo-Ally-Partnerizations that I fully understand, but I'll say it everytime for the sake of those I Lead. Give me my results, not excuses.
Manage my statements all you want on your keyboard rifle range with the All-CONUS mindset that effects too many people anymore.
For those that live in reality and seen highs and lows over 20 years time; going to take a whole lot of talking to make me back off that box.
To have a Leader that will not sacrifice keeping it Simple for waht could potentially waste Billions of Dollars I salute that. Don't budge that bottom line for your military if you genuinely expect them to also hold that same line on their day of days.

Is there such a thing as a stealth cargo jet? I mean we have stealth bombers; how hard would a stealth short take off and landing heavy lift jet be? I could see it being used to deliver supplies and equipment and personnel to remote secret bases that nobody wants to acknowledge exists, or getting supplies to people in areas that might be considered contested airspace. It could also be used to deliver things like “Rapid Dragon” in dangerous airspace, or perhaps even air refueling. Anything that might be considered a compromised configuration (basically limiting the time of exposure and danger).

It's Na vada not Na vad a. Tikaboo Peak and all the other mountains that gave the public the ability to see Groom Lake have been acquired by the government years ago. And they are called scoot and hide. The F 117 was developed at Groom Lake but lived at the Tonopah Test Range in Tonopah Nevada. There is now a experimental hypersonic testing facility at the Tonopah airport. Another interesting aircraft that was tested at Groom Lake was the Bird of Prey. Images were released to the public years ago. I've seen some odd things in the sky north of me. One was a couple of bright blue circles of light the color of afterburners but hundreds of times larger. First there was one and it winked out and another or the same one appeared in a different spot before also winking out. That was many years ago. On a couple of rare occasions I saw a bright blue beam of light going straight up. That was also many years ago. Also many years ago a wind farm was planned on public land north of me and the government wouldn't let it be built. I wondered why. The only thing I could think of was that Groom Lake had acoustic sensors somewhere. Groom Lake is 60 miles north east of us. You can watch the Janet aircraft on Flight Radar 24 come out of Vegas and turn at Mercury Nevada then go dark when they turn off their civilian transponders. The Janet aircraft are a common sight at the Vegas airport and in the sky around Vegas. Lots of unique and interesting things happen around here.

Hm, I bet IR LEDs could be leveraged into an absolutely wonderful tool for leaving imprints of things like dragons on the tarmac, without moving anything except what had been on top of that LED array. They could even play with the minds of the observing nations. Nation1 gets a picture of Baba yaga's hut then moments later nation 2 gets a picture of two copulating dragons. And so forth ad nauseam.

A few years ago the Chinese tried to buy a parcel of Stations (big ranches) owned by an agricultural company, because one of them sat right next to Woomera. They were not allowed to make the purchase.

Unfortunately because these mysterious businesses are founded in the US state of Delaware their actual owners are unknown due to Delaware’s laws shielding such information. This leads to a phenomenon were a small building is listed as the headquarters for hundreds of companies but inside it’s simply a mailbox for each one.

Gordon Cooper was one of the original Mercury 7. He was the last of them to fly, later (also) flying on Gemini 5 in 1965. He was also a semi-pro photographer. He was able to take a 35 mm camera with some good lenses up with him. When he landed, after Gemini 5, it took him a while to get his camera and film back. Seems he'd managed to snap the best, clearest pictures of Area 51 to that date. He explains this in "Leap of Faith," published in 2000.

How did the contractors produce that much concrete? Was all that water available underground or was all that water transported in? (A logistical challenge since a pipeline is too public a thing to build)

There are fairly large aquifers under most of Nevada. One of the worries with placing a nuclear waste repository at Yucca Mountain, which is near Area 51, was that if any of it were to leak there is a potential for it to contaminate the aquifer under Amargosa Valley, which has about 1400 or so people using it.

You know what would be great...if the engineers make some cardboard silhouettes of some flying saucers and other exotic craft and leave them in the opening for the adversaries satellites to catch photos of...that would drive them crazy ...it will keep them guessing like it's a pop quiz😂😂😂

Lockheed Skunkworks built the SR-72 for Top Gun Maverick. This aircraft sitting outside their hangar resulted in at least one spy satellite re-directing it's orbit... permanently.

    USAF
    CIA
    EG&G
all came into being. The history of Area 51 is about more than high performance aircraft.

Hi, I hope you are doing fine. I have two questions for you. First, why did the cost of design of B - 29 far exceed the cost of the Manhattan Project, when it was just a piston engine aircraft? Another question is, do you know some pilots, who had flown both B- 29 and B -747 in their entire aviation career?

Man, I would almost want to just go over there and sit outside and listen to the aircraft takeoff in land. Because at the end of the day, it’s an Air Force Base just like every other Air Force Base so there will be aircraft leaving and coming to the facility all the time. I wouldn’t care what they look like or how cool they would be. I just would like to hear them. I also created an audio drama, where part of it is actually based in area 51 latter part of the first half and part of the second half and of course, you know the folklore about the aliens and stuff. Well that’s there but instead of just focusing on that this time, I figured why not make it more realistic interpretation of that it is primarily an Air Force Base so they’ll be testing new aircraft. so there are scenes where fighters are taking off in landing.

I will get roasted in the comments here, but I remember when Google Earth first was released. After hearing about S4 from an interview with Bob Lazar when I was still a young adult, I looked up Papoose Lake and there was a distinguishable rectangular outlining of "bushes" into the south side of the mountain where even today car tracks leading to the area are noticeable. That image is no long exists (even using the Google Earth's historic image capability) It has been removed. To this day, I am convinced there is a massive underground structure in that mountain.

Excellent presentation Alex! Dreamland does have many, many secrets too. The book "Area 51 - Images of Aviation" by Peter Merlin doesn't hide anything. This excellent collection of historic photos taken not from above but from within the facility provides context to the incredible past of aviation development and to the future security of our nation that Dreamland has contributed to.

Wouldn't it be good to have a runway under a runway?.
Then you can have everything "secret" underground, and if they need to test them, they have a run way to take off and at the other end is a big arse slanted door that opens up, fly out and fly off.
It would cost a lot of money, but they've wasted billions before now on stupid things that haven't seen day light 🤷🏻‍♂️

Although i enjoy your videos and respect your thoroughness, I wish we didn't have to endure a history of Area 51 from the beginning before getting to the point of the video; "How Area 51 hides its secrets from the world". I find this the case with most of your videos. Any video about stealth inevitably start with a long drawn out history of stealth from the beginning of time. It is frustrating for me. Just a suggestion, cut down on the history and get to the point of the video.

I was doing Annual Training at Fort Polk, Louisiana last year and the days before we headed back to my unit in Texas we had to take our vehicles to the yard and get them hooked onto the civilians 18 wheelers so they could get taken back for us I had met a gentleman named Micheal. We were talking about our careers and I asked how he liked being a contractor for the Military. One of the things brought up is the places he’s gone. He pulls out his phone and shows me a pic of his truck load it’s a destroyed Russian jet and he was taking it to Area 51. Of course in the pic he was miles away from it but on the way he stopped to get pic.
