I like the way to change the tone of your voice, never bored watching you for long time because of this, it's like you're playing a piece in theater.. thank you
Don, I had been stuck in a job I hate for 6 years but I had never left is because it paid well. It is also a job that was completely different from the job I used to do, so returning to the same profession before that became really difficult since I already spent 6 years in this other job. Three months ago, I got laid off because the company faced financial issues due to COVID. I would get interviews once a month (yep) since I'm trying to go back to the same profession I had before, but because of my most recent job, I guess my application got ignored a lot. Luckily, I got an interview for the profession I love and your videos helped me structure my thoughts and sell myself despite the 6 years I spent in my recent job that was irrelevant to the job I was applying for . Now, I am paid more and I get to do what I like. I guess that job really was meant for me. Your advice definitely helped me be my best self in that interview. I'm a manager now.Thank you!
So you have to say what they want to hear? Sounds inauthentic. Play their process, say the right things. It should be a two way process. Do you really want to work for people who are so prescriptive? Star etc is old hat. The LPs are in no way unique to AWS.
I recently brought your 140+ questions and I absolutely loved it. I am always afraid of behavioral interviews and find myself stumbling even though I have some concrete stories. This PDF really helped remove some of the guesswork and helped me build on top of the stories that I currently have. Thanks !
I currently work for Amazon as a tier 1 on the ship dock. I applied and got accepted for a maintenance tech 2 role at my facility. I have to take my interview on the 30th.

My two cents. Please break into time staps so its easier to follow up topics. I love your input on leadership principals. My letter is different but it certainly covers the points analyzed here. Thanks for the video

I used your videos to help me through an interview few months ago. Unfortunately, I did not succeed this time. However they said they were really impressed and think I would be great for the said role. They place me on a reserve list of qualified applicants in case someone drops out or future roles. It's been 3 months. Nothing. Is being in the reserve list an accomplishment? Or is it false hope? Last I spoke to them they said could be another 3 months. Should I forget this and move on? I would absolutely love to connect with you for a career coaching session..I am gearing up for interview but I do not have the funds to pay for the session (hence why I am searching for a job)
They don't even interview you at Amazon.. you go take a drug test bring your I9 forms get you picture taken for your badge and then wait for them to email you as long as you pass the drug test and background your hired then you go for you first day of training and that's it.. it's the easiest process iv been through.. atleast for warehouse jobs
And give you 15 dollars per hour for lifting boxes upto 49 lbs for straight 10 hours. That will destroy the your mental health. And your physical look.
Well I'm always having bad experiences as a customer dealing with Amazon and I order from them a whole lot. Drivers not following my delivery instructions, my stuff been stolen, sending it to the wrong addresses. I've called so many times about that. Now what I like is that when that happens, Amazon will credit your money back to your card or your Amazon account. But still . That's annoying when the drivers don't pay attention or don't care.
@@DonGeorgevich Thanks. I have an interview tomorrow. I've actually interviewed before with Amazon so I know what to expect, but I don't now what will ensure me a results. Your opening said "going for a leader of management position" but the LPs are a requirement company wide. I'm going for a software engineering interview and they heavily stressed this. Why are you starting off the video with such a limited focus?
dude its called private career coaching. You expect that for free????!! LOL smh He posts what he is naturally knowledgeable in and what can be the most broad in terms of audience..... example: leadership postion
@@ayj3106 no. My point is he has no idea what he's talking about. Amazon is a very unique company and he is completely missing the entire point of the leadership principles. He starts off saying that the LPs are for managers and that's literally not at all what they are for. This entire video is "I have a document and I'm going to read it". There was ZERO due diligence done on the company philosophy or leadership principles in general.
I've coached 11 clients this year on leadership positions with Amazon and all but three of them were hired with salaries up to $470k. I'd like to think I have some credibility to speak on the topic - maybe not.

Dear AWS aspirants, don't choose this job..!! Round 1, Round 2 and also Round 3 almost will interviewed by Ur seniors only. If U were a 2024 passed out graduate then 2020 or 2021 batch of students from AWS will come for interview. So it is very sad that that seniors are very busy with regular job work and interviewing others. After succesful completion of Round 2, they will never send emails to u other those who do not selected. Those who excellently answered in Round 2 will not qualify in Round 3. Even if we contact the enquiry people, simply talking non-sense. AWS do not follow the leadership principles. If yes, they can contact every person why they do not selected in interview.
