I know it would have been a long shot but I would have ideally liked a Serpent Night Dragon retrain to be an archetype that mixes in the Dragon Horn Hunter lore. It just makes so much sense. As I see it, Koumori Dragon also would be able to get retrained in said archetype.
*"Starry Night Starry Dragons" archenemy has finally appeared...."Serpent Night Dragon" is probably going to have its own archetype later to challenge "The Starry knight" Archetype deck, and thanks to Konami because of Starry Night Starry dragons effect it is a major hint that serpent Night Dragon was eventually going to make its return.
@@FutureOfHalo Yep looking forward to what they'll do with serpent Night Dragon.... "Seiyaryu" or "Starry Night Starry Dragon" which is technically a retrain of "Seiyaryu" from classic Yu-Gi-Oh has been retrained for the modern Yu-Gi-Oh audience and with the lore of Seiyaryu vs Serpent Night Dragon being Arch enemies, well it's only going to get better cuz I'm really looking forward to seeing serpent Night Dragon have its own archetype and it's pretty clear Konami even hinted at serpent night dragons eventual archetype arrival basically the battle between light and darkness between these two dragons.
Serpent night in dragon rulers. Baby black dragon for the discard, Phantazmay as a discard. Then serpent night can semi solo crack the board before mp2 full dragon ruler combo
It'd also work in pretty much any Lair of Darkness build since you'd be able to summon it by tributing an opponent's monster via Lair of Darkness' effect that allows you to tribute an opponent's monster as if you controlled it.
If you're asking if it would work around stuff like Skill Drain then yes, but something like Effect Veiler would still stop it's GY effect since Veiler affects the monster until the end of the turn even if it leaves the field.
You can contact Fusion or super poly beast eyes and deal burn damage if it destroys something. Gimmicky but food for thought Both cards would be good gimmicks in red eyes
Lair has a new toy to mess around with.
ooooh very true!
I was thinking the same thing
Ah, giving some respect to the OG cards. As an older YGO player myself this hits me right in the heart of the cards.
It would have been so fire if these cards were Memento support
pegasus is great for going 2nd decks that can only deal 5750 damage!

There goes any attempt to create a Serpent Night archetype and/or loop it into Starry Night
Maybe a spell or trap could tie them together.
These should've just been mementos
Serpent Knight Dragon. Yes.
1:50 it could be a good Target for the link 2 hieratic
Wouldn’t Serpant Knight Dragon work well with the new TCG exclusive reptile monsters?
Probably! They're darks that like being tributed!
It’s okay, but you’d need another body to link it off for Fiendsmith plays. Then overlay Lacrima with Sanji or Kusanagi for Feral Imps
The serpent nightvretrain will be great in bystial redeyes 😮
NIGHTMARE SONIC BLAST!!!
please make this a real card...

The dream!!
@yacine656 yep and I'm looking forward to it
@@jurassictyrantkingYT that would be sick. I think some people have forgotten that serpent night dragon has its own named attack

SERPENT NIGHT DRAGON RETRAIN
SWEET
So would Serpent Knight Dragon effectively be immune to "on the field" negation since its effects activat in the hand or graveyard?

Firewing Pegasus is insane for tri brigade or harpies tbh
We about to get skull servant stuff
Pegasus + original bamboo sword is a board clear that does 2250 damage
I still wanna see the knight version of serpent night dragon

I wonder if Lair of darkness can be used for the cost or if it has a similar summoning clause like Diabolos
Serpent Knight Dragon yo!
That pegasus effect is so odly specific, almost like konami trying to make it bad on purpose 😂
Serpant knight would be a good tech in yubel
Those arent mementos
AMAZING AS ALWAYS.🔥.
Chill, we love DB grinders terrible pronunciations 😂😂😂😂
He's the goat
Nostalgia sell
Wow these are so USELESS jeez come on konami these cards are bad even for 2019 cards standards
yeahh has been the case for pretty much every modern revamp so far haha
Calm down ritard they slowly giving us whole deck just be patience
I won't defend flamewing, but serpent night will definitely be a niche tech pick in something eventually as a weird battle phase boardwipe
@Petsinwinter2 that ritard calling these cards "useless" even though there's more coming soon
