It looks like you have a fair amount of work ahead of you there Chris, but what a gorgeous looking building you’ve moved into. It’s all about priorities, and I’m sure the workshop will have to wait for a while yet. It’s a great looking space and once you have the house how you want it, the workshop is going to be great. Really pleased you got the cat home safe and sound too.
Man, I’m SOOO glad you found Brando-I was very worried for you. We had a cat who looked just like him (his name was Junior), and boy, I miss that little guy. Good luck with your beautiful home, Chris!
It was truly awful. I thought he was gone and I was so very upset. We love him, he is a family member and we were so glad to find him even though it was very hard to retrieve him. Gendarmes rule. C
I love your house Chris! I live in Canada and we have nothing like that here. So nice! Glad you got your cat down! Look forward to the next video. Cheers
I'm glad that Brando is safe. I know what you mean about the cold. It makes it hard to get things completed when it's cold. Take your time. Don't overdo it and get sick. Your health is more important than the videos. You have a beautiful house and the scenery outside is awesome. Keep us updated, I really like these videos as much as your guitar making videos. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for the update!
Really enjoying these updates of “ Escape to the Chateaux “ until the workshop is ready. Or beyond… ? As ever you engage in a great way and pleased to see Brandon back.
All the best and good luck in your new French adventure, Chris. Prioritise - you're settling-in with Ella and Brando is safe - don't put pressure on yourself to satisfy hungry You Tube viewers with guitar making.
Great to see things moving along. Anxious to see your return to building, but priorities must be kept in order. Better to have the workshop set proper. Looking forward to future vids!
Hello Chris! What an incredible story. I met Liam last night in London and he told me about your new project and the chateau. I can't wait to see your first French guitars.
I’m really tired of being cold. The forecast has been promising warm weather for a month. If I’d known it would last this long I would have invested in a ton of fuel. C
@chrisreynoldsguitarmaking Hope you're really feeling better at this point and have been able to get your shop set up a little more... what part of France are you and your wife settled into? I picture you in a place like the TV show "The Madame Blanc Mysteries." 😎
You're the reason I'm spending hundreds of quid on upgrading my childhood 80's Sunn mustang into my perfect partscaster. If you could slow down the videos so that my wallet can recover, that would be great..... 😁
Great move Dylan. I’m on an enforced break at the moment as I have moved to France. Much work to do here so guitar making is low priority for the moment. Time for you to catch up.
There certainly is. If you could tell the Conservative government in the UK that I left because my homeland has become a nest of disgusting racists, xenophobes and facists that would be fabulous. You could also tell them that any country that votes to make itself poor and excluded from the most successful single market ever is basically a country populated and ruled by incompetents and fools. It’s sad. It’s upsetting but sometimes leaving is healthier than staying and facing that universe of stupid every moment of every day to the detriment of your health and sanity.
I am not the biggest fan of cats, BUT pets are family so I am glad that you found him. It has to be a relief. Congrats on the new home.
I was attacked by a dog as a kid so dogs generally scare me. Brando is family and a pain in the ass generally. But we love him so much. C
Wisteria. Glad the cat is back. Why they can't settle down with you after a move is one of life's mysteries.
So true Kev. It is indeed Wysteria. C

It’s been a fantastic experience with highs and lows. But looking forward is best. C

It‘s a beautiful place. Thanks for the update! Glad the cat story had a good ending!
Our pleasure! Brando sends his regards C
I love your house Chris! I live in Canada and we have nothing like that here. So nice! Glad you got your cat down! Look forward to the next video. Cheers
It's amazing but the amount of rennovation required is overwhelming. Guitar making will be my release from it I hope. C

Thanks Tim. Loads to do. I wish I had a lot of money and an army of workers. But I don’t so it’s a slog. Keeps me active though.
Thanks for the update. Take as much time as you need. Moving everything is overwhelming. Very glad your cat story has a good ending.
Me too. We are relieved C
You will get there Chris !! Wish I could help out!! Glad you got your cat back as well. Can’t wait to see your shop all set up !!!
Me too. It’s a lot to do on your own. Kitchen build next.
Really enjoying these updates of “ Escape to the Chateaux “ until the workshop is ready. Or beyond… ?
As ever you engage in a great way and pleased to see Brandon back.
Thanks. I’m glad to hear the updates are not boring folks. More to come.
He was in the last place you looked, fancy that. ❤ love the channel fella❤
@@ruleninetyone You’re right. Why does that always happen? Thanks for your support. C
Glad you found Brando. Your house looks lovely, I'm sure the workshop will gather pace once you have all the other living essentials!
I hope so too! C.
I’m happy you are doing well Chris. Love the update. Your videos are worth the wait.
Kind words thank you. It really makes it worth the effort when people appreciate it. C

Kind words. Don’t want to lose my subscribers though. It’s a long job getting this far. C
Looking forward to watching more of your incredible videos!
Thank you so much! C

I know its asking a lot, but as you say there are priorities. It will happen and it will be better than ever I hope. C
Hi there - thanks for the update
It looks like a dream house, that comes with a lot of work.
One day at a time will do it ,
That’s the plan Mario. Good to hear from you. C
Hello Chris! What an incredible story. I met Liam last night in London and he told me about your new project and the chateau. I can't wait to see your first French guitars.
Thanks. We are obviously good friends but I can’t tell who you are SuperDoubleTake
I really enjoy the updates…and I’m glad to hear you’re getting on well…it’ll all work itself out 👍
Thanks Eddie. Will do some guitars soon enough. You can take the lad out of England but you can’t take the guitars oot the lad.
Glad to see you getting settled in. Happy for you!
It’s been a cold slog thus far but the weather is warming. C
Bonsoir Chris welcome back on RUclips.
From Bordeaux 🎸🎶🍷
Thanks so much. C
There are pet collars that hold an AirTag, that could be worth a shot. Effectiveness depends on the density of mobile phones in the area though.
Sorted. But it lasted 10 days before he tore it off. We are getting there. C
it's true that it's cold at the moment, but the good weather is coming (at least I hope so).Happy for your cat 🙂
I’m really tired of being cold. The forecast has been promising warm weather for a month. If I’d known it would last this long I would have invested in a ton of fuel. C
Best of luck Chris.
Thanks Gary. Its been tough at times but no regrets C
Nice one Chris, was wondering how it was going. Gonna be a great workshop and guitar building space
I will do another update and hopefully resume building in a few months. C
It's great to see you back Chris!
Thanks Ray.

I love hearing the updates! Glad you have found your cat! I would also be interested in shop setup videos or Timelapse’s. Thanks!
Oh my. Good idea but the camera with have to run for months. I will give it a go sometime.
Wisteria! Nice to see you are settled into your palace at Tours.
Yes it was. Ela was annoyed I got it wrong. Not my best subject. C
Poor Brando, probably took it upon himself to look for the way back home to London since you guys weren't doing anything about being lost in France.
I’m sure you are right. Finally he is beginning to speak some French at last. Just the basics but it’s a start. C

@@chrisreynoldsguitarmaking Enjoy the enforced break, We'll all be here when you get back!
Don't make me come over there.
Come over anyway. The new place is amazing
@@chrisreynoldsguitarmakingit looks beautiful. I love France. Been there dozens of times.
There's something amiss when a person leaves their homeland to live in another country. ?????

bon chance
Thanks very much C
