Paranoid Android is not the type of song where you can twist the arrangement. But you got the energy, the performance. This one is cool but as said Helen's Home the song was still fresh both for the audience and the band.

Live Radiohead gives you an opportunity to appreciate how they translate their studio work to the stage, where you can see them recreate every detail of the production.
“Oh that’s how that sound is made? Using a guitar?!”

I saw Radiohead at Glastonbury in June 1997. The album hadn't been out long. I remember listening to it on the way there in my mate's car. A bunch of us had gone to see Radiohead headlining (Saturday I think) - we'd all taken acid though. And right near the beginning, someone said they wanted to go back to their tent. Then everyone but me wanted to go back to the tents. Like everyone else, I was tripping off my tits, and didn't feel the apposite confidence I imagined it would require to sit out the rest of the gig on my lonesome. As we started traipsing off, they started playing My Iron Lung - a real favourite of mine. At least I got to hear that as we wended our way. We passed the Other Stage (as I think it was called then) on the adjoining field, where Kula Shaker were playing. That also sounded great for the 10 or so minutes we were in earshot. I remember being back at the tents, still tripping. Kind of wishing I wasn't. Or was watching Radiohead.
I was so gutted, I'm still posting stuff about it over 25 years later.
There's a moral to that story. I'm not sure quite what it is, but it's in there somewhere.

@@the_oslovian Haha - yes! Thank you. I can confirm that was the very last time I had LSD. And The Bends and OK Computer are two of my favourite albums. And I, similarly, always write too much!

Oh no, you just put Muse and Radiohead in the same sentence for an example. Nope, no, not good.

Fantastic live performance which I've never seen before. Amazing however that Jonny Greenwood's guitar solos never get the centre of attention and his blistering delivery. Brilliant nonetheless, when playing live they're always very faithful to the studio version

@@the_oslovian i wouldn’t say they’re exactly like radiohead but i’m pretty sure they take inspiration from them!! you can definitely hear it in certain songs
