Lalit is one of the early morning ragas. Plaintive ragas, which depict the first rays of the sun hiding behind the horizon. In this rendition, I have chosen the 16 beat cycle teental, which is one of the most fundamental rhythmic cycles. The slow development of this composition is its main characteristic.
