👉 It takes my breath away. I am fascinated by the beautiful and diverse landscapes of Kazakhstan. Added to this is the almost aggressive music and a proud Kazakh on his horse, our Dimash, who flies over the steppe and praises the beauty of his homeland and its people with fiery words... and all of this at a breathtaking speed that suits everyone follows the rhythm of the song and emphasizes its power and energy. Mansur's brief interlude in the video shows Dimash's endless love and bond with his family, his brother. I can't tear myself away from this unique, wonderful work of art, I watch and listen to it over and over again. But it also makes me very sad because our children in my country are learning today that there is no German people. Traditional rites and festivals are said to soon have disappeared from consciousness. Where do you belong? How can you live without your own and shared identity? What happens when one’s culture is disapproved of and books an d songs are “corrected”? Dimash always touches my soul and warms my heart - He is my lifesaver!
Well, the problem is not only a German problem unfortunately. What can you do? Sit and watch as German culture vanishes, or stand up and fight for it, because noone else will, if you don't protect your own culture.
This was released by the Kazakh tourism forum last night and then released by Dimash on to his channel. I'm thinking (and hoping) the turning backwards on the horse was a stunt double but knowing how good a rider he is, I wouldn't rule out that being him for the rest of it. Kazakh children are literally placed in the saddle as babies and we know Dimash is an adrenaline junkie. Kieli Mekin was first released in 2021 for the online concert but this reworked longer version with the added rap is beyond perfection. And can I just add how seriously hot he looks wearing a bandana with long hair! 🔥
It definitely is a stunt double, it becomes pretty obvious if you zoom in, a couple of the facial features are notably different. From afar it had me convinced because it seems like the kind of thing he would do

I wonder how much the Kazakhstan government pressures its key celebrity. Aside from that, the MV is good but has elements not done well, ie, the eagle shots, Dimash floating in the air, the ridiculous shot of the pilot. I love Dimash but this video is not up to his vocal abilities, standards.

I would agree that the airplane part is not done well, but as for his vocal ability? He wrote the music and his father wrote the lyrics so I'm pretty sure he loves this song. He's not just a range of octaves.
