  • In this video, I share my hiking experience at Poo Poo Point in Issaquah, WA. Poo Poo Point is a popular hiking destination that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It is also a launch site for paragliders and hang gliders who soar above the landscape. The hike is about 7.2 miles round trip and has an elevation gain of 1858 feet. It is rated as moderate to difficult, depending on your fitness level and the weather conditions. Along the way, you will see beautiful forests, streams, waterfalls, and wildlife. The trail is well-maintained and marked, but it can get muddy and slippery after rain or snow. The hike takes about 3 to 4 hours to complete, depending on your pace and how long you stay at the top. The best time to hike Poo Poo Point is from spring to fall, when the weather is clear and dry. You will also need to bring plenty of water, snacks, layers, sunscreen, and a camera. Poo Poo Point is a rewarding hike that will challenge you and amaze you with its beauty. I hope you enjoy watching my video and get inspired to hike it yourself!

I did this hike yesterday. That first stretch kicked my ass, but this view and the view further up were worth it. On my way back towards the entrance, I saw a dead deer by where the mossy waterfall was. I got there around 10 am. It was really really cool. At one point, I saw at least nine paragliders in the air at one time. I want to take a ride.

i believe the hike is just under 4 miles round trip. I hike it quite often with my para gear and it takes me about an hour. 1.8 miles one way with just over 1600' gain. Nice video though and congrats for making it up! If ya wanna fly down next time, let me know:)
